Favorite!

This is my favorite word game, by far! The games work your brain without pressure. Each game is also fun while offering a challenge. The level of challenge is really self imposed. To top it off, even the free version is not inundated with ads. In fact, there are barely any. I think I may have one very short ad when I first start the game, but I don’t even think that is every time. TED has made a great name for themselves while encouraging the world to think, create, inspire, engage and educate and this game just adds to their list of accomplishments.

Unplayable

I first played this game when it was on Netflix games, during that period of time there were no long duration ads, it was fun. Learn learned a lot of new words, had fun. Now it is genuinely unplayable unless you want to pay eight dollars. I wouldn’t mind it as much if it didn’t last a whole minute and a half before i can even play the game. I downloaded to support the amazing developers but it just seems like a game that forces you to pay.

Don’t do it unless you wanna pay

Does that thing where ads come up and they’re impossible to get off the screen without completely closing out of the app

Ads infested

It was a great app when Netflix owned it now it’s just ads. And no, I’m not paying to remove them. Rather uninstalling it.

The Best

This is the Best word game, Ever - Without a doubt!

Best word games

I am on the top 20 leader board because I play it so often. No stupid ads with one off payment. Love the cute haptics and sounds. Like a high tech 9 letter. My pattern recognition skills are improving. The only game I really play (sorry Wordle, I’ll binge you again one day soon…)

Doesn’t honor in app purchases

Constantly makes you view ads even after purchasing

Response from developer

Hi there! The only ads you should see after that purchase are totally optional rewarded ads. If you're seeing ads between levels, please email us at support@frostypop.com so we can look into this!

No remove ad option

Would happily pay to remove the 60 second+ ads but they seem to have removed that option completely? Having to slog through ads so long my phone goes to sleep before they finished straight-up ruins the game.

Response from developer

Hi there! Our most recent update has fixed this issue. Thank you for playing, and for your patience.

Buggy

Would be a great game, but purchasing it doesn't get rid of the ads. I have "restored" the purchase only to have it show force another ad 2 minutes later. I won't play games with ads so had to delete. Wasted my money

Response from developer

Hi there! Our most recent update has fixed this issue. Thank you for playing, and for your patience.

Still buggy !

App is not logging my score with the leaderboard for the game in play - actual score on the game is much higher than on the leaderboard.
Leaderboard appears to finish one hour before the next game is available.
Lost all my history!
I am unable to see how I finished up on a game’s leaderboard unless I am literally watching it as it finishes.
Get this right and you have got an absolute winner of an app! Unfortunately these issues are getting frustrating and threatening the loyalty of those of us that knew this game under Netflix.
Please fix this!!

A fart of an app

FARTING. it’s a real English word. Why does this pearl clutching fart of a game omit this word as if it’s a swear or trigger? I swear I could fart out a better app.

Response from developer

Sorry that FARTING ruined your experience. Hopefully you can get your fill of FARTING elsewhere!

Great game miserable ad implementation

The game is great. The long form ads that are appearing before at this point each game are not. This was fine when I started playing earlier this year with maybe one of those ads a day but it seems with each month I’m expected to sit though more and more ads and now I’m lucky if it’s just 3 over the course of the days puzzles

Edit: yes you need to pay people but picking the most obnoxious way to show your advertisements to force purchase to remove them isn’t a good strategy

We have to pay the bills and our employees. There is an option to purchase so that you don't see those ads!

Not worth it

You can only play once a day, even with the pay subscription. Also, the little “smart quotes” are definitely bias or trying to persuade towards certain ideologies. Couldn’t we just make games without politics?

Response from developer

You can play as many times as you like! Check out the archives. Feel free to disable the quotes from TED Talks if you don't like them. That's an option in settings.

✨Wonderfully Constructed!

Better than Wordle

This game challenges and when you plan ahead to move the letters, it challenges even more! Love this!

Response from developer

Awesome feedback from a strategic thinker. Thanks!

Ads

Too many Ads that interrupt the game. You have to wait precious minutes of life for them to be over so one can continue. Big bummer! Waste of time.

Response from developer

There is an option to see no ads for a one-time in-app purchase! Glad you enjoy the game itself.

Entertaining and challenging

This game is fun! And, if you are committed to finding as many words as possible, challenging in a good way! I love that the rows and columns can move a little!!

Response from developer

Thanks so much for playing.

TED? Really?

3 problems. This game locks on add-ons with no easy exit like an x in the corner. The amount of tracking I had to give my permission for made me very uncomfortable and yes I could opt out but then it took forever to work. Instructions on how to play it might have made it possible to enjoy. I can’t believe this was a TED thing.
