20 free articles to 7
As it says, they have changed the amount of news you can read from 20 to 7 a week. I could read 7 in a day let alone a week.
Problems with subscription
I paid the annual fee so I could unlimited access but after a little while it doesn’t recognise my membership until I sign out. I can then sign in again to make comments but after a while same again. Very frustrating

Can’t even read about the mighty boro anymore as I’ve apparently used my free 20 articles this week, funny it’s been saying that message for nearly a fortnight.

Poor
Used to be a decent app for local news, unfortunately no more. Too many ads at start up and breaking up articles. Now you have to subscribe to view more than 20 articles a week - why bother? App and account deleted.
Rubbish
Just like the actual paper, the app is rubbish. Keeps crashing, uninstall, reinstall, same happens. Apps/software needs regulating.
iOS iPhone 2020se - Compatibility
Dear Reach plc, since the latest update of the Teesside Live app I have faced annoying issues when attempting to leave comments on Middlesbrough FC forum news. After writing a few words the page frame disappears below the type line making it extremely difficult to complete the comment. Can you please advise what I need to do to keep the frame open and accessible whilst typing. Is this an Apple iOS issue?

Woeful
To many adverts, spelling mistakes and generally woeful app
App Broken
Since the last update stories keep automatically scrolling down to the adverts at the bottom of the page. Making it impossible to read to read the content

Afraid that the news does not change, no automatic update means that Teesside live seems to offer Teesside yesterday at present, is there a refresh button that I am missing?
Failed to Send
1 in 3 posts fail to send, very annoying and surely the techies know this so fix it or tell the users how to avoid the problem. Readers spend time putting together a script only to see it erased. Not a good app. PC version is so much better.

This was ok at first then all of a sudden it kept showing Premium stories that you couldn’t see until you paid for subscription, then it started limiting how many stories you could see each day . So deleted the app.
Who’s going to pay?
Why would anyone in their right mind pay for this after they limit the amount of articles read when can go on a desktop site/facebook link and it’s free? Deleted
Looks better but reduced navigation!
The latest update (Oct 23) certainly improves the look, but not the feel. Gone is the ability to swipe left and right through articles which means having to go into an article, come back out to Home page, scroll down to the next one, go into it, read, come back out and repeat!!! The BBC did exactly the same in their last app update and have now changed this which has much improved the navigation. Please take a leaf out of their book and react to feedback. What remains the same is the high percentage of typos, repeated words etc. not relevant to the update, I know, but don’t you have proof readers or a QC process??

New Improvements
The new update stops people from reading articles if you don’t subscribe. Why would you subscribe to an inferior written newspaper. If I want to keep up with any news in Teesside I will find another way.
Repetitive
It is a good app for what is going on in our area’s. The issue I have is with the reporters that repeat the sentences over and over again.
Local news graveyard
There’s no relevant news here, unless you are a local bigwig getting a free ride, no critical evaluation but plenty of cronyism. It’s a shame as the gazette used to be essential reading for Teessiders. App deleted.
