TeeUp Club 0.9.5 – What's new * The best voucher, applied automatically When you book, the app picks the best voucher you're entitled to for that course and tee time – a free club round before a club discount, for example – and tells you why it was chosen and how many are left. You can still override it or enter a campaign code. * Share a Tee Up with friends and clubs Share Tee Up now shows all your friends and all your club chats, not just people you've chatted with before, with a search box at the top. Pick one and the invite goes straight into that chat. * Better chat Every message shows the time it was sent, conversations are split by day ("Today", "Yesterday", "Last Friday", …) and a day label floats at the top while you scroll back through older messages. * Find courses faster The map has a new Book Now / All switch and starts on Book Now, so you only see courses you can actually book. Course cards are labelled Book Now or View Only, view-only courses link to their website, and the Featured section on Home shows up to 10 courses. * Friend requests with one tap Search results now have an add button with a quick confirmation before the request is sent. People you're already friends with are marked Friends. * Contributors and posting rules in groups A new Contributor role next to Member and Admin. Admins decide who can post in the group chat: everyone, contributors and admins, or admins only. * Change your email address yourself Go to Profile → Personal. We send a 6-digit code to your new address (and a heads-up to your old one); your address is only updated once you've entered the code. * Clearer help when a login code doesn't work Mistyped your code? The boxes turn red and the message tells you what to do. After too many wrong attempts you simply request a new code. Opening a login link while already signed in takes you home. * Notifications switched off? We'll tell you A banner on the Notifications and Settings screens lets you turn push notifications on or jump straight to the system settings. * Update reminder When a new version of the app is required, you get a clear prompt to update from the store instead of running into errors. Improvements * Your bookings are now called Tee Ups throughout the app: My Tee Ups, Tee Up details, Confirm Tee Up, Share Tee Up. * Tee Up details: Share, Add player, View course details, Add to calendar and collecting money are in one place, with Cancel separate at the bottom. * Android: Add to calendar now uses your Google Calendar, so it syncs to your other devices. * Searching for a place from Home or the map shows all courses in that area, including view-only ones. * Email addresses are no longer shown in friend lists, group member lists or the friend picker. * After signing in you land on the page you were heading to. * My Tee Ups → All lists your most recent bookings first. * Tablets can be used in landscape; phones stay in portrait. * Clearer messages when a tee time needs more or fewer players than you selected. * 9-hole and 18-hole options from the same tee are shown and priced correctly at all partner courses. * Only the person who made a booking can change or cancel it. * Push notifications are more reliable right after installing, and devices that no longer exist are cleaned up automatically. * Under the hood: latest platform version, a few megabytes smaller, and fixes for a start-up crash on the newest iPhone software, a crash when swiping the featured courses, and a generic error being shown instead of the offline notice.
