Terrible App Design
As another reviewer said using percentages for temperature and units of measure is dumb. The original app was far superior. They should definitely hire the original app designer because this app is junk and makes the teforia 2.0 effectively worthless.
BLE strong; login fixed
Version 1.2.40 improved connecting to the infuser from another room, and now v. 1.2.42 has fixed the issue with retaining login! In fact, I didn’t even have to log into the new version; it referred to the credentials which were already retained. Now if only Adagio would add their own “Year of the” Chinese animal-labeled teas to the database so I can use them in my Teforia.

Illogical Interface / Units of Measure
Setting percentages for time, temp, etc make no sense. There should be actual units of measure. Percentage is not a valid unit of measure for time or temp.

BLE stronger; password amnesia
While the version 1.2.40 app now can reconnect to the infuser from another room, that process is necessary every time the app is opened. We used to have to log in again each time the app updated itself. Now, we must log in every time we use it (and reconnect to the infuser and click through the entire onboarding)!! Opening the app just one hour after using the machine presents the dreaded login screen once again. This is a super-large pain point. No other app has trouble remembering credentials like Teforia does.

App constantly loses connection causing device malfunctions.
What the title says. Had the machine replaced once because of errors. Now the app has disconnected from the replacement device they sent (they tried to lie and say I received a replacement unit already so they sent a completely jank refurb in a destroyed box). Device likes to become a pressure cooker when app disconnects mid brewing, and the only way to get it to stop from becoming a literal pressure cooker bomb is to remove the water recover and let a cup of boiling water spray all over your kitchen. These devices are inherently faulty and a HAZARD! If you buy this device, know you’re not a consumer paying $500 to be the owner of this device. You’re paying to be a beta tester for a device that will inevitably break in about 3 months. Conviently out of their warranty policy. Not a fan of how this company is run now AT ALL! Zero moral integrity!

Awesome app one flaw
I wish their is a create your own recipe so I could set Time and temperatures and add a name that would be a really convenient feature to have

Works really well and easy to use. Supports lots of different teas. I'm excited for the new features coming this year.
