About
Teka is an e-commerce platform powered by a backend server and mobile client apps for iOS platform. Teka brings vendors and customers together on to a common online marketplace such that customers may purchase products of their choice from Teka vendor-partners at discounted prices. Teka supports both online and offline shopping through its vendor-partners. Customers also earn reward points for their purchases and these points may later be redeemed for other products or cashbacks. Teka onboards vendors through a hybrid online-offline process into the technology platform and registers customers online in an automated manner, either through the apps or the web portal. Teka interfaces with external service providers like SMS and OTP gateways for 2-phase authentication of customers and vendors, Email providers to communicate with customers and vendors on a regular basis and Push notification service providers to push real time notifications to customers and vendors upon occurance of pre-defined system events. Teka is a secure transactional platform using SSL/https and two-phase authentication mechanisms to secure information.
