So sad
Im so sad and disappointed. These lights would’ve been incredible if the app worked
App has bricked Lights
DO NOT PURCHASE TEKE LIGHTS! During setup, the app bricked the lights and they wont stay on. I have to say, after waiting over 7 months, I’m HORRIBLY disappointed. Please stay away from them until they get their act together. I feel like I’ve been duped.
Crashing
I have been super excited to get these lights- when they work they are pretty cool. However the app is super finicky. Anytime I try an adjust the battery power mode it’s goes straight back to the same brightness. There is no way to download new scenes from the “ever growing library”. The audio reactive setting does not work whatsoever. The worst part is you cannot leave them plugged in. So you are stuck operating with battery only. In addition, when you exit the app the lights stop. So unless you can go an entire night without checking a text you will freeze the lights. I bought these for small concerts and parties. Unfortunately they cause more frustration than enjoyment. I hope all this changes with an update.

Doesn’t work on IOS 16
The company really needs to update their app to stay up to date with iOS updates. I understand their being a little overlap but iOS 16.3 just realeased and these still don’t work with the normal iOS 16. please take care of your customers.
Doesn’t communicate/work
This application simply does not work. Customer service is horrible. Doesn’t respond. What a waste of money. I’m an original backer and even than their service was horrible.

The app doesn’t control the lights at all. After months of back and forth with Teke Team, I am still without working lights. I was able to get the the Teke Pros updated just today, and still the app won’t control any of the lights. No FX. Not even responding to simple selections of just solid 5600 temp. And so on.
I have reached out no less than 5 times, even ending video, and received no useful information from Teke Team. I was an original backer on kickstarter and have told others to stay away when they need LED Fx Tubes. Want to share the message with everyone here too.

Pixel dmx mapping on mobile!
I was blown away by the ability to load in my own videos and do video to pixel mapping like I would in software like Resolume Arena! Great app can’t wait to see how it develops in the future.

Great app, easy to use, and amazing features. I have 4 Teke Pro and this app is perfect for setting up my light displays for my video shoots when I’m on the go. It’s reliable and my preferred choice when configuring my lighting installations. Looking forward to Teke’s upcoming features!

That’s lights it was amazing. I love it. It’s easy to travel and set up. Now I’m waiting to do update the Bluetooth version.

App Doesn’t Work
Once we switched from the TestFlight Beta to the official app none of the tubes work anymore. They connect to the wifi and are shown on the network but you can’t send any of the lighting to the tube in wifi or Bluetooth modes.

Simply does not work
I was a backer of the Kickstarter, purchased 5 lights, and had high hopes for the product. However, the app simply does not work and therefore the lights are useless doorstops. The app fails at every function. I tried deleting the app and reinstalling, rebooting the phone, letting the lights run completely out of battery and charging up again - nothing works.
Hopefully there will be an update soon, but for now I wasted my money on the lights, and my time on the app.
