Play FPL at all costs
Awful App. Constantly changing pages without asking it to, making transfers almost impossible to make. Looking at private league tables is pointless as 90% of the time reverts back to the home page. Only reason I play is because my work use this and I win that every season so it’s easy money for me. If you have to play it use your internet browser not the app as that works fine.

Resetting is infuriating
I can’t believe that the ‘resetting’ of the screen issue that has been present for years still hasn’t been addressed !! If anything seems to be worse this season, somehow related to the adverts perhaps? on my iPhone 15 anyway.
Makes the app virtually unusable as, son as you filter or sort, second or two then reset.
This is crazy for what otherwise is a fine game that we’ve been playing for over a decade. C’mon Telegraph - please sort this out, drives me bonkers ! 😆

Sort the refresh issues!
Been using this app for few seasons and in the private league if you expand messages and scroll down to the latest msg, more often than not the app refreshes. Infuriating trying to read the msgs as a result! This has been the same on all my iPhones and long standing issue.
Another improvement, make the msg order in a private league descending order so the latest is at the top please!

Very poor and getting worse
Sadly the app continues to go from bad to worse. Like the reviewer below I click an add in error then can’t get back to the app. Have to reboot it every time. Thankfully they’ve got the stats centre up and running after a week without. The app is more frustrating than useful - either it needs an overall or just ditch it and focus on the website.
At the moment the app isn’t really fit for purpose, not that they seem to care given the constant bad reviews it’s had over the years - sadly nothing changes (aside from increasingly interfering and annoying adds).

Glitches
Problem I find is once you accidentally press
one of the advertisements around the boarder ( sports betting etc ) I cannot navigate back to the home page of the Fantasy football !?
Ended up going around in circles.
Very frustrating ! In fact it’s more reliable to simply have a short cut to the website on your phone and give up with the app .

App is shocking
Never up to date
Have to login every time
I thought it would keep you in real time with the games so you can see how your players are doing and see how you are scoring compared to your friends in the league but no.
Looked via the app and via the website on my phone, dont want to have to fire up the laptop in 2019 to see my Fantasy Football scores.

This app is made to give you arthritis
Terrible app clearly made by someone who’s never used a phone before. You have to log in every time you use it, even if only a few minutes apart. Why? This is hardly internet banking. Once you’re in you have to go through so many menus to get to what you want you’ll quickly lose patience, allowing you to focus on the arthritis it’s given you by needing so many clicks.

Worst FF app out there (2019)
Slow, clunky, way too many button presses to access simple functions like league position, team points, transfers etc. When you can see the league you cannot just press on your team to view it - you have to back out of the menus to go & view the team etc. Obvs not setup by a footy fan. Premier league FF app is great, very intuitive, Sky FF app has improved considerably for 2019 as well. I’ll have to take ‘my league’ over to another app for 19/20 season unless sorted - no way I’m going through this again for next season.

Worst app ever...
This has got to be the worst app ever. Every time...and I mean EVERY TIME...you open it you need to put in your password (which isn’t saved) ...usually not just once but two and sometimes three times. This of course is if you get that far. Often you are faced with a white screen and nothing else. I have given up with the app and now only use the desktop web page.

They just want your money
I think it’s a good idea to have a championship fantasy football instead of your normal premier league but I created a team just for it to get delete and then when I had signed up and made my team again I go of the app then go back on a couple of days later just to have a look round the app and every single thing I click is asking for money!

Great for Premier League
I’ve been looking for a good fantasy football app for a while and have used several including the Sun dream team, Sky sports fantasy football etc. until I’ve found The Telegraph. I must say I like the TFF app much better than the others but maybe it’s a personal preference as I like simplicity and the prize pot is bigger than some. I noticed some reviewers having trouble signing up - I managed to sign up ok without any problem so maybe the issue was fixed? I also like the fact that you can create a private league and invite your friends. Overall I’m very happy with the app so far and would recommend it to those looking for a solid fantasy football app!

Great app now. Past bugs seem to have been fixed.

Original and best
Easy to pick a team and register - loads of stats, live scores, everything I need to manage my team and hopefully even win a few quid this season!
Terrible app. Slow, and annoyingly frustrating to use
I downloaded it because a few mates were doing a World Cup fantasy football league... the app is sooooo slow. Takes an age to open anything... clicking on my team, or others, within the league takes a few taps and about 3mins to actually load up. Also annoying; I only have 1 team, so why does it keep asking me to select my team? Little things like that have made me certain not to use it when I join/create a team for the Premiership next season.

Really what is the point of this app?
It asks you to pick a team, absolutely no problem. You spend a decent amount of time and then you’ve managed to get yourself a good set of players within budget. All good.
Then it asks you to create a logon. I create one and without any indication why, it asks you pick your team all over again.
After a frustrating amount of time, it looks like you have to create your ID on their website and then log on to their app.
So, that’s what I did. I logged on and this time it works except....when I want to view or do anything it comes up with, ‘Registrations and transfers are now closed’.
So I can’t use the app to do what I want to do.
I definitely won’t be signing up to anything that involves them taking my money....why would I trust anything involving money when they can’t get their main app to function properly.

I won’t get my time back messing about with the app nor writing this BUT at least I’ve done a public service and saved some other poor soul theirs.

Doesn't work
Been playing for years and now the app doesn't work for me as it won't let me login any more since the weekend just passed. Can login to webpages okay with same creds so this makes no sense.. Helpdesk can't help. Won't be able to play using the app this year so probably won't bother any more. What a shame. Very disappointed.

App itself decent but let down by login every time
My issue is the same as so many others - why can it not remain logged in?! Having to login each time is such a pain - especially for those who use individual passwords for everything and use password managers. Each time I open the app I have to switch to LastPass, copy my password, then switch back to login. It's a mobile app - just stay logged in!!!

Excellent app. Nice layout makes it easy & straightforward to use. Best fantasy football game around.

The login issue ruins an otherwise great experience
The app is generally fine and I have no complaints once I'm logged in. The problem is I have to log in nearly every time I open the app.
When I thought it was a daily login (as I have for the last few years), I felt I could cope but having to log in every time you open the app (with no option to save password) could make the app unusable for me way before the end of the season.

Best Fantasy Football Game
Love all the extra fantasy competitions (Champions League, Championship, World Cup) and the amount of leagues players can enter, don't see many/any of these on many other fantasy games. The app works perfectly for me too, never had any problem. Best Fantasy Football game I play by far!
