Upon downloading the powercam app again
(after having it offloaded due to such low phone storage)
I come back to this unrecognizable mess that seems to of destroyed people’s memories due to the massive change.
I got the original Powercam app to take photos and have neat and unique effects and styles NOT to do videos and speak to people. If I wanted such an app I would of downloaded another app to try it out not have the original camera app I purchased get tossed aside for something I’ll never use.
I’ll be staying with powercam 3.3.1 even if it looks a little strange on an IP15PM

The app keep crashing even before recording. Waste of money
You switched core use trapping a decade of media
This was my favorite app to add video and photo effects for over a decade. Then I upgraded my phone which downloaded the latest update, and you switched core use from Photos to video Teleprompter, this trapped all the media that I have taken, since my son was a child and I cannot get it back, because you switched the core use. No app is not available on your website. Support is unreachable, and I lost a decade of my sons memories FIX IT. if you wanted to create a Teleprompter, you should created a seperate Teleprompter app not changing an app that was fine. Worked very well that people enjoyed and you trapped their memories in the process

Worst update
This new update is so awful. This app used to be one of my favourites but since this update, I’ve lost all of my videos and pictures I’ve had for years. So frustrating, here’s no way of recovering them. Don’t bother downloading it, it’s absolutely useless now.
Teleprompter doesn’t work
Unfortunately, the teleprompter is the only feature that makes this app having. And yet, this is the feature that simply does not work. You enter your script, save it. You go to the screen and start the recorder. It asks you what language you want. in my case I picked English. As recording starts, you can see that it can hear you by the little VU meter in the left of the screen. My understanding is that as you speak, the teleprompter should move. It doesn’t do that. Not only that, you cannot even manually scroll with your finger. Having used the older version of this app, this is not a great replacement. All of the features that used to be in the old app are gone and replaced with some thing that simply doesn’t work. Sad

I’ve used POWERCAM since 2012, when I had an iPhone 4! WITHOUT WARNING, they completely change the app to this telewhatever CRAP. You STOLE ALL MY PICS I had stored in POWERCAM. MY PICS!!! Don’t trust this app! They will steal all your content. And they never respond to emails. DO NOT TRUST wonderhare. I WANT MY PICTURES BACK!!!

Frustrating
I have been trying to retrieve my photos and videos from PowerCam ever since this new format was activated. Wondershare/PowerCam invites people to contact them with issues yet never responds when I do. I have emailed them many times asking for help in retrieving my photos and videos and have NEVER gotten a response.

Had the PowerCam app for a long time and had its own folder of pics spanning years - did the update and it’s renamed and changed and now it doesn’t work and lost all my images. I would give it a -0 now if I had the option. You cannot even get intouch with anyone to resolve.

It was a great photo taking app but it’s been updated and it is now completely useless.
Went from being five stars to one star with the update.

I can’t access my photos anymore since the day you guys upgraded this app , why you didn’t even warn the users , this is irresponsible , I lost like 6000 photo , how can I get them backkkk !!!!

Loved the previous PowerCam app, now it’s just a random video thing? I’m so confused about this. Have lost all the photos I had saved in the app! A heads up would have been decent!

Totally sux! Developer changed from photo to video app no warning
This is worst experience ever! I bought this app years ago as the best photo app. I had a load of photos there.
Without any warning developer switches it to a bloody video app, my photos from the app are gone ! If I wanted a bloody video recorder I would have bought it. Bring the photo app back!
