very helpful

i have a hard time remembering what i need to say for scripts and this app helped so much, i didnt have to look far from the camera to get my scripts info, definitely made it less of a difficult process

Bait & Switch

I was thrilled to learn from colleagues that this software was offered for a day with a free lifetime license. I downloaded it to my iPad, clicked through the screens confirming the free license, and opened it. Three days later, I was charged $29 for a yearly subscription.

Disappointed, I considered contacting the developers but decided to warn fellow users instead.

Npt free as it says it is.

Went to get a lifetime free upgrade and instead of that have a free trial for a week. I have now cancelled that. I deleted the app and tried again, same thing. It’s not an app I’d use often, but more to the point of it says it’s free it should be. I’m sure some people won’t check their subscription and be duped by the false advertising.

Scam or a mistake?

I just downloaded the app and went through onboarding. I was charged $19.99/year starting Nov 9, 2024.
Is this an honest mistake by the developer or a scam? I am contacting Apple to remove the charge and the app.

Thank you for the most valuable tool in my kit.

It’s the easiest, most intuitive app to adapt to and refine my workflows around for a lot of the different ways I use the app. Internally for SOPS. General housekeeping so I don’t have to repeat the same thing again after 30 years.

When I was age 12 my dad took us all on yet another Weird Weird West road trip adventure through multiple states in a motorhome. We walked into a Denny’s for brunch.

I’m extremely ill with an ultra rare genetic mutation with less than 100 known cases in the world. It’s pEDS or periodontal Ehler’s Danlos Syndrome. Recently I was hospitalized twice in isolation rooms with whatever the latest is.

A video marketing must-have

I’m not sure I’d be able to do half my job without this app. I’ve recommended this to my whole team because we’re doing more and more video-based marketing content these days. All the functionality is straightforward, works a charm and delivers a great experience every time. Even our least ‘gadgety’ people find it easy to use.

I have to revise yet again my review that I initially wrote on June 9, 2024, and revised on June 18, because now, after almost two weeks, I have finally received a responsive e-mail from Mr. Matt Cowlin allowing me to upgrade the app that I downloaded on June 8, for the promised $1.99. The upgrade is, indeed, new and improved, but be ready for anything but quick responses from the developer.

Simplicity

This is a great little app so easy to
Import your script and has all the functionality you need. I use it for recording my podcasts. It does one job and does it well as the saying goes.

Works well for the simple things I do

Teleprompter x has worked well for the simple things I do. It is a fully competent field prompter app, and has a lot of capability I haven’t even touched on yet.

Looking forward to using it for the upcoming football season.

I like this app. It feels new in a way that isn’t unfamiliar. It just feels well built. Everything looks good. The font. The colours. The features. It’s like someone took a loooooong time to really think things through. Obviously it’s early days. But these are just my preliminary thoughts. It’s good!

Unique and different

Teleprompter X has raised the bar and developed a unique application that will certainly be in many’s “Wheel House”. It has always been a great app to use and as I record many “in-house” messages for my church family, I have found this to be my “go to app”. Please keep up the good work and always work on the principal of keeping it simple. It certainly works for me.

Great teleprompter app

So as far as teleprompters go, this is perfect! Easy to use - simple but with enhanced features and best of all, most of the features don’t need you to subscribe! Makes a change in this day and age!

So if you’re looking for an autocue style teleprompter, Teleprompter X is perfect! Keep it up guys!
