About

Look at the camera. We'll handle the rest. Your script rises under the front lens at a speed you set, so you read without looking away. The words come up to meet you — and the person watching sees eye contact, not someone reading off to the side. WRITE IT, SCAN IT, OR SAY IT Type a script, scan a printed page with the camera, or dictate it out loud. However it arrives, it gets broken into short, phrase-shaped lines — which is the single biggest difference between a script you can read from a distance and a wall of text you can't. SET THE PACE BEFORE YOU ROLL Choose words per minute with the camera already running, and the script travels at exactly that speed — measured from your own words as they're laid out, not estimated. It never listens to you and never tries to catch up. Once you're recording, the only control left is the shutter, because nothing should compete with the words for your attention. TWO PLACES FOR THE WORDS Put the script over your picture, docked under the lens, or in a strip above it so nothing ever crosses your face. Both keep the reading line close to the camera, which is what stops the eye-line drift that makes someone look like they're reading. SET UP THE SHOT Front or back camera, 1080p or 4K, a three-two-one countdown, a thirds grid for framing, the torch on the lenses that have one, and a mirrored preview. Text size and speed are set on the shoot screen with the picture in front of you, and whatever you settle on is remembered. THIRTY LANGUAGES Write, scan, dictate and read in any of thirty languages. Chinese, Japanese and Thai are paced by character rather than by word, because that's how those scripts actually read. EVERY TAKE LIVES WITH ITS SCRIPT A script isn't a document you file once — it's something you perform again. So every take sits under the words that produced it, with the button for the next one right there. Deleted takes wait in a bin for thirty days before they go. FULL QUALITY, NO WATERMARK Export at the quality you recorded, through the share sheet, to anywhere that takes a video. Nothing is stamped on it. WHAT IT WILL NEVER DO No filters. No beauty retouching. No AI avatars. No eye-contact correction. No feed to post to. It records you reading your own words, and that's the whole job. The screen stays awake for the whole take. Scripts and recordings stay on your device — there's no account and no sign-up. Terms of Use (EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/
