These people are just cash grabbing, if you want a real free and even better UI Teleprompter app, 10 out of 10 recommend the Teleprompter and script writing app instead of this highway robbery

Fortunately, the app was updated to version 2.0 today and resolves your concerns: it offers a redesigned UI and many more features, including support for 4K and up to 60 FPS.
