Bad difficult to understand
Nice onboarding but the app is not letting you do pretty much anything even paste a text what’s. The point then
No “REMOTE” Option!???
What makes this App a letdown is not being able to USE your iPhone as Remote!! I should be able to Pair my Phone and iPad and use one as a remote.
Daily Crash
I have to delete and re-download every single time I use the app.
Newbie
I have never used a Teleprompter before. I was unable to use this product because it was glitchy. It kept putting my text upside down and I’d have to log out and log back in. I’m unable to find helpful videos or understand how to make it work. Still cant use it

Solo se pueden subir texto desde un archivo o teclearlos a mano. No se puede hacer copia/pega desde un texto de una web o un archivo de word o pdf… Fallo muy importante
I like it and use it
It does have portrait & landscape modes, now.
It does exactly what it’s supposed to do … free. I find it very easy to use. I put clearer labels on the TeleprompterPAD remote, and both the remote and my labels make the app even better. The only downside for me is that, if I edit text in the app and “save” it, while I can use the text with my edits, those edits are not really saved, because next time I open that file, it’s still the old version. For me, it’s a small thing. Thank you!

Can’t copy/paste
What’s the point if you can’t copy/paste text from another app?
OK but no transparency
I wish there was transparency that would get me to buy the remote and foot pedal but for now I’m find virtual teleprompter pro more useful

En versiones anteriores, si bien tenia menos cosas, era muy util, pero con nuevas actualizaciones no es posible que funciones tan básicas como cortar y pegar texto no funcionen
Recent update rendered this app useless
Since recent update, I Can’t edit, can’t insert documents, can’t do anything but adjust settings. wasted of my money on the remote. Don’t waste you time buying or downloading.

How is there no way to copy/paste in this app?
I don't understand... it would be such a great app if there was support for keyboard shortcuts for copy/cut and paste as well as a right click contextual menu. After all this time, how are those features not available in this app?
worked just fine until the latest update - April 11, 2025
I’ve been using this app pretty much every day since I had it and it works pretty well 95% of the time. Good functionality for the price. However, with the latest update I can’t edit any text anymore. Hopefully it gets fixed quickly, because until then I’ll have to find another app. I need this every day for my job.

Not complete
Just used the app and it seems to work just fine. I like the feel of it and it’s many features. It has a lot of great features that I have not seen on other teleprompter apps I’ve used. The one thing that I use the most with other apps that makes me not want to use this app as much is the lack of the video recording option. With all the added great features it have, it doesn’t have video recording! That’s the only deal breaker for me. Other than that it’s a great app.

Won’t open pdf
It says it will open pdf files but it won’t. No error message just opens a different file.

Ich bin mit der App im großen und ganzen zufrieden. Ich habe die Fernbedienung über Amazon dazu gekauft. Leider funktionierte diese nicht. Der Support hat mir unkompliziert eine Neu zukommen lassen. Damit funktioniert alles, wie es soll.
Eine kurze Eingewöhnung in die Bedienung ist notwendig, kann zwischen zwei Konfiguration gewechselt werden.
Anzeige meiner Texte klappt gut.
Die Bedienung des Editors ist noch etwas hakelig. Da sollte noch nachgebessert werden. Vor allen Dingen vermisse ich da den Portrait-Modus.
Abgespeichert Texte lassen sich mit der Windows-PC App nicht richtig öffnen. (.RTF Dokumente), Dort will die PC-App komischerweise immer drucken, wenn ich ein Dokument öffnen möchte.
Auch da gibt es noch Verbesserungspotential.
Alles in allem macht die App nebst Fernbedienung was sie soll und der Support reagiert freundlich und Zeitnahe. Da sind 4 solide Sterne verdient.

Better than some but misses basic interface rules
Appears stable at first glance, which is more than I can say for MOST of these teleprompter apps.
No support for common keyboard shortcuts like Cut, Copy or Paste... No standard application menus so the user interface must be learned.

Can not import any file
Tried to import my scripts from many formats. Never opens/imports. Dead. It does not import anything. Why?? Can you please update the app do perform this simple, basic, and necessary function?
