About

Telly is a fast, precise way to rank every movie and show you've watched — no star ratings, no guessing. Rate something once: Liked, Fine, or Not for me. Then Telly asks one simple question — "which was better?" — against titles already on your list. A few taps and it's placed exactly where it belongs, with a precise 0–10 score calculated automatically from its position. • Binary comparisons, not stars — you always know which of two things you liked more, and that's what makes an ordered list actually mean something. • Separate lists for movies and TV — no apples-to-oranges rankings. • Liked / Fine / Disliked bands keep • Re-rank or remove a title anytime; the list heals itself. • Add friends by handle and see their lists and notes — and a taste-match signal showing how closely your tastes line up. • Leave a note on anything you've ranked; friends see your words next to your scores. • See which of your friends ranked a title, and how they scored it. • Sign in with Apple. Your data is yours — delete your account and everything in it, anytime, from Settings. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.

What's New in Telly

1.1

July 28, 2026

Telly is now invite-only — ask a tellybuddy for a code, or hold on to the ones you'll be able to share. Since you last updated: • TellyScope — a new channel on the bar. Swipe through a deck of picks; swipe right to rank one on the spot, straight through the full rate flow. • Log your watch in one pass — the date (even just "sometime in 2019"), a note, and who was on the couch, all before the reveal. • Friend profiles, rebuilt — their Ranked and Want to watch lists as shelf rails, taste signal up top, and their notes one tap away behind the eye key. • Search, tightened — wider titles, cleaner rows, and recommend appears once you've rated. • Settings moved to the gear on the nameplate, and plenty of polish underneath.
