How do I get it to show me Local earthquakes?
App doesn’t work
It asks for your phone number to recieve a verification code, but once you do, it asks to update the app and won’t text me the code. Complete waste of time and might potentially be stealing your personal info!
Does not have functionality as shown in preview
Version 4.1.0 and website - I cannot get anything other than different versions of risk maps. No way to access the individual building risk assessment screen as shown in the first iOS App Store preview screenshot.

Why app requires your phone number?
There is absolutely no need for this app to require your phone number. Delete!
Super delayed earthquake info
So I’m sitting here eating and there is a quake, we go outside, our neighbors felt it too. No push notification message from Temblor. So I manually launch Temblor and scroll to my area on the map, nothing is showing and no recent quakes in this hemisphere on in the list. So I give up on Temblor and go to usgs.gov and enter an “did you feel it” earthquake report. A few minutes after I finish my report I get the Temblor notice. What good is that?

Sorry fed up now with reporting it map has stop working on mine and fed up uninstalled then reinstalled it for it still not to work have reported it to you but no feedback as to why this happens was alright for the couple days it worked .
Worst privacy policy of any app I’ve yet seen
There is ZERO reason I should or would give my phone number to a company I don’t know and that has nothing to do with telephony. In fact, there’s no reason at all to require signup for this app in the first place. On reading the privacy policy, the company has the right to give your phone number to any third-party business for any reason, including “to sell products or services to you”. I already get enough spam calls and texts, thanks.

Hard to keep track on the area if interest
Love this app, except that is imposible to keep the setting the way you want it. Keep going back to all over the world magnitud 2. I will like to see my region only and 3+. Thank you for your attention on this matter. Timing is excellent. If you add this features will get 5 star.

Lots Of Bugs...
...the main one annoying me is that it will not keep the filter parameters I set. I only want to know/read about magnitude 4 or higher, it keeps resetting to magnitude 2 (of which there are hundreds each day).

Access code
I am waiting for 5 mins and there is still no access code sent to my phone number. Please fix this asap, I am amazed by the app and it’s service but it’s so disappointing that I can’t even use it. Please take it as a heads up.

What the heck? This used to be a really solid earthquake tracker and reporter...until just now, when the developer updated the app and forced all users to enter a personal phone number in order to launch the app.

I loved this app. Now I’m obliged to give my phone number. Just deleted the app.
There’s a lot of bugs, need update
On the layers checklist, faults/ca faults, liquefaction (sometimes works if changing terrain but not always). Other than that, it’s a great app to see latest earthquake map and hopefully in the near future you’ll be able to give out some sort of warning if it’s a big one and hopefully a good distance away so there’s some time to get ready

The core features don’t work
For some reason, the interface for me doesn’t even resemble what the screenshots show. Few examples: quake insights section is empty/blank, I can’t see any fault lines, fault zones don’t display, and there isn’t anything displayed regarding risk or retrofit costs.
The legend box displays and layers do show their corresponding key in the legend box, however, no data is displayed on the map. Sometimes the map changes zoom level depending on the layer I selected, but I might as well just use Apple Maps for the basic functionality I’m getting out of this app - i.e. satellite view...
Good thing you have a web interface that can display relevant data for me. Even that works only half the time, though, randomly returning me to an Access Denied screen every few minutes while I try to browse and modify various risk assessment options.
What gives? Happy to update review rating if you can help me get this working.

interesting app, really eye opening. I live in CA and I'm now going to go do the basic earthquake safety features Temblor suggests on their website. I could also look at my friends house in Chile.
