This update rebuilds the One Bar player around a single progress bar, adds a visualizer that reacts to the audio, shows how everyone else did once you finish, reworks the home and Explore screens, and retires Sampled. One Bar - The guess bars and the progress bar are now one control. Each segment is as wide as the audio that guess unlocks, locked segments are greyed out, and you can scrub anywhere inside the part you've unlocked. - Segments sit on a rising scale instead of raw seconds, so the first two guesses no longer look identical. - When a clip ends the playhead sweeps back right to left instead of every segment emptying at once, and it moves quicker the more you've unlocked. - Skipping plays the newly unlocked clip straight away. The button is a pill now rather than a box that read as a second search field, and on the last guess it says "Give up and reveal the answer" instead of "Skip". - Solving shows how much audio you needed set against the full track, instead of a small line counting guesses. - Guessing the same song twice no longer costs you a turn. Audio - A live visualizer sits behind the player, built from the frequencies actually playing rather than a fixed loop, and shaped after the One Bar symbol. Silent frequencies drop out and the low end no longer pins at full height. - Text and controls stay readable above it. After you finish - Every result now shows how everyone else did on that puzzle: the spread of results with yours marked, over the share of players who solved it. Explore - Rows run oldest to newest and open on the most recent puzzle, with each row header carrying its game's colour and symbol. - A chevron points back to the older puzzles behind a row you've just opened. - Genre filters survive opening a puzzle, and finishing one you opened from Browse returns you to Browse instead of the day's lineup. - Dates include the weekday, so "Sat Sep 5" rather than "Sep 5". - Added a Soundtrack genre. Home - The game grid is a bento layout with a symbol for each game, and completed games read as completed at a glance instead of relying on a small checkmark. Once the day's games are done, the next step sits at the top of the screen. Era - The decade picker is a grid of tiles with the century above the decade so "50s" is unambiguous, and the 1950s are now included. Fixes and smaller changes - Fixed the invisible status bar and hid the scrollbars, and the launch screen now holds until the app is ready to draw instead of flashing an empty shell. - Sharing uses the native share sheet, the keyboard can be dismissed, and there are haptics on every outcome and state change. - Panels and modals settle into place instead of bouncing. - Search gained keyboard navigation and clearer empty, loading and error states. The keyboard no longer covers results, results stay on screen when a request fails, and the clear button works properly. - Games open instantly instead of fetching when you enter one, and the leaderboard no longer breaks when you switch tabs mid-load. - Small icon buttons, the back link and the result buttons are all big enough to hit reliably, and Sign out and Delete account are proper buttons rather than plain text. - Google sign-in always shows the account chooser. - Sampled is retired. Its puzzles stay playable from the archive and past scores still count. - The privacy policy and terms have been rewritten, including a note on where AI is used in building and running the app.
