About
Practice with clarity, precision, and calm.
Tempo de Deux is an elegant, focused metronome for musicians who want reliable timing without unnecessary complexity. Its moonlit, stage-inspired interface keeps the pulse easy to follow, while precise audio scheduling keeps your practice grounded.
SET YOUR TEMPO
Choose any tempo from 20 to 240 BPM. Enter a value directly, fine-tune it with the + and − controls, or use Tap Tempo to follow the pulse you already hear.
SHAPE THE RHYTHM
Practice in simple, compound, and asymmetric meters: 1/4, 2/4, 3/4, 4/4, 5/4, 6/4, 3/8, 5/8, 6/8, 7/8, 9/8, and 12/8.
Choose the beat grouping that matches the music, then subdivide each perceived beat for more detailed practice. Use equal subdivisions in simple and compound meters, or switch between main beats and natural groupings in asymmetric meters. Create a custom one-measure accent pattern using Strong, Medium, Regular, and Off.
SAVE YOUR PRACTICE SETUPS
Save complete rhythm presets with a name. Each saved rhythm remembers its BPM, time signature, beat grouping, subdivision, and accent pattern. Browse your presets in the Saved Rhythms tab, rename or delete them, and return to the metronome with the complete setup applied in a single tap.
SEE THE PULSE
A pendulum, beat markers, and restrained moonlight particles follow the metronome so the current beat stays clear without distracting from your playing. Traditional tempo terms—from Larghissimo to Prestissimo—give each BPM range a familiar musical character.
PRACTICE WITHOUT INTERRUPTION
Continue playback with the screen locked or while using another app. Your active settings and saved rhythms are stored locally on your device.
