Still the Best
Though it’s been a while since this app was updated, it’s still the best I’ve found for use with the Grant Horner system. If I could request one thing, it would be a dark circle to indicate completed readings instead of the faint check mark. There are mornings and evenings when these old eyes of mine have a bit of trouble seeing it. That said, I love this app!

Nice app but a few updates and added features would make it AMAZING
The app is great! Could use a few updates like more options for translations besides ESV, option to customize the lists (if you read the apocrypha, read 7 lists, etc) and an option to add notes to your reading for the day. It gets the job done if you read ESV! I would love to see more TLC put into this app.

Audio is terrific!
Have been using the Grant Horner Bible reading system for some time using the PocketBible app, which has the reading system available. However the audio version on that app is computer generated. This audio version is either human or the best computer generated audio I’ve ever heard. Now I can listen while I walk.

It’s nice
I love this reading system! It’s great you can listen to the ESV Bible. I just wish it had a bit of customization features. I can’t start where I am right now as I’ve been doing this for a month.
Beautiful App
This app helps me keep track of Dr. Horner’s Bible System. The fact that it speaks the scriptures is just icing on the cake. Really helps me control the system better. My only question is what happens after a year? Can I keep going with this app or will I have to switch to another? Also being Catholic I sometimes read the other 7 books, but that is my issue. Keep up the good work.

2024 update needed
the audio version of the plan is no longer accessible. developer? do you need help with this app? i enjoy it but if the audio option is unavailable it will be easy to abandon.
Great Tool
Great tool! One thing that would be nice is after you set a start date is that it will automatically calculate the day you should be on. E.g. if I started on 1/1/2022 and today is 2/6/2024 it should be on day 767.

Love This App
I did the first 250 days of Professor Horner with a combination of the YouVersion plan, physical Bibles, and this app. Wanting to continue past the 250 days I find this app to be the best. If I miss a day, the app just waits for me to return. I like that I can have it read aloud to me and that I can adjust the reading speed. I can pause and reread a section. I can adjust the font size. I enjoy the ESV. This app is a blessing in my life. Thank you for providing it 🥰.

Fantastic
I just downloaded this app but it was EXACTLY what I needed. I’ve been having trouble keeping track of the chapters I’m on. I was using a different app that had Professor Horner’s plan but it was dated from when you started and would keep updating every day even if you didn’t check off the reading. I miss a lot of days so I would have to keep scrolling back to the day I’m supposed to be reading. I love how this app is so simple and lets you do the checking and moving forward as needed. Thank you.

I use this app everyday on my drive to work. Although I am bummed as it used to auto scroll with the text which was really nice and helpful. Hoping there is a fix for that soon. Thanks for the great app!!

This app is simple and beautiful. It works exactly as needed for those following Professor Horner’s original plan. I would LOVE, and likely pay for, the ability to customize the plan. I use an alternate plan in which Group 10 is Acts, Romans, and Hebrews. Would be sweet if a user could define (1) how many groups of books, (2) the books to include in each group, and (3) which book and chapter to start with in each group. Understand: this is a request, not a complaint! The app does exactly what it purports to do, and does it seamlessly. Thanks!

Effective until I get reset
I transferred my Grant Horner plan progress from another app, manually setting the start date. This app keeps resetting me back to that start date, though!
I love this app
In 2015 I began using Dr. G. Horner’s Bible reading plan. I loved it and could really see how the different scriptures commented on each other. It was also at a time when I was struggling to really understand the OT and how it intersected with the NT. Fast forward a couple of years and a difficult pregnancy and pretty severe post-partum depression had left me in a rough spot. I found this app and now I can listen to my ten chapters or read my ten chapters and not worry about losing my book marks or being too distracted! Thank you!!!!! I highly recommend!!!!! The times are crazy and Jesus is our rock!!!
