About

Tend turns the paperwork from every doctor into one calm, clear care plan, for anyone looking after someone through a surgery recovery or a long-term condition, including themselves. When someone comes home from the hospital, the instructions arrive in pieces: a discharge sheet from the surgeon, a letter from the cardiologist, a medication list from the family doctor. Different schedules, overlapping medications, warning signs scattered across pages. Tend brings it together. WHAT TEND DOES Instructions from every doctor Upload a discharge sheet, clinic letter or medication list as a PDF or text, or paste it in. Tend finds the medications, wound care, exercises and other tasks, and shows the exact line each one came from. Nothing goes on your schedule until you approve it. Conflicts flagged, never merged If a new document changes a dose you already have, repeats a medication, or says to stop one, Tend shows both side by side and asks you to decide: replace, add alongside, or skip. It warns you when a dose changes tenfold, which is usually a typo. Reminders you can count on Every dose gets a reminder inside the hours you choose. Mark it taken or skipped right from the notification. A symptom check grounded in your care team's words Log pain, fatigue, mood, nausea, temperature and notes. Tend compares the entry with the warning signs your doctors wrote down and with the last two weeks, and tells you plainly: no listed warning signs matched, keep an eye on it, contact the care team, or seek emergency care. Wound care and history Log wound checks with photos. Photos stay on your phone. Appointment summary Build a PDF or text summary on your phone, without AI: current medications and their sources, doses taken and missed, symptoms, wound checks, warning signs, and your questions for the visit. Caregiver wellbeing Tend checks in on you too: sleep, stress, and whether you've had a break. PRIVACY Everything you enter is stored on your phone. There's no account. AI features are optional; when they're on, the relevant text is sent to Anthropic's Claude after names and identifiers are removed. Photos are never sent. No ads, and usage statistics are off unless you turn them on. MEDICAL DISCLAIMER Tend helps you organize care. It does not replace medical advice. Always follow your care team's instructions, contact them with questions, and call your local emergency number in an emergency.

What's New in Tend

Tend 1.1 is the biggest update since launch. - Instructions from every doctor: upload discharge sheets, clinic letters and medication lists, and review each item with the line it came from before it reaches your schedule. - Conflicts flagged, never merged: changed doses, duplicates and "stop taking" instructions are shown side by side for you to decide. - Ongoing conditions, not just surgery recovery, including caring for yourself. - A reminder for every dose, with Mark Taken and Skip right from the notification. - A symptom check grounded in your care team's own warning signs. - An appointment summary as a PDF or text, built on your phone. - AI is optional and can be turned off in Settings; names and identifiers are removed before anything is sent. - Usage statistics are now off unless you turn them on. - Your data is backed up on the phone before every update.
