This worked for a number of years, but in the last couple of months it has become impossible to connect it to Alexa. AMAZON say they are working on it but I don’t think it’s ever going to start working again with Alexa so all my 9 plugs will now only work from my phone.

In IOS app which updated today (Jan 05 2025). Maybe the two plugs i binned weren’t faulty at all, but the fault lay in the app?
I replaced the 2 duds with another brand but maybe i should have waited the 18 months for the app to update?! No rating because its too early to say……

My plug was working fine until the latest update, I now don’t know if it’s on or off and when it’s on it keeps turning off, it also losses the network connection. If it ain’t broke then don’t try to fix it.

Cannot connect to Alexa
My plugs were working fine….then for no reason they became very slow whilst using Alexa… I’ve removed 1 device from the App and reinstalled it…..now Alexa can’t find it….so frustrating…..

The latest update of Beli has unfortunately taken a step back in terms of user experience. Setting up a routine or scene, which should be a streamlined process, has become a cumbersome task. The interface, once intuitive, now feels cluttered and unintuitive.
The lack of clear instructions or support exacerbates the issue, leaving users to fend for themselves in a labyrinthine interface.
In essence, the app’s core functionality – to enable users to create scenes and routines efficiently – has been overshadowed by a poorly executed user interface design. It’s a classic case of an update trying to fix what wasn’t broken, only to break it.

Ok at first
Worked great with Alexa at first now lost contact and can’t reconnect, still works from app , going to send it back if it won’t connect soon
Don’t waste your time or money
I bought two of these smart plugs based on price and didn’t consult reviews until it was too late. Every negative thing that’s already been said is true: use UNfriendly, no available tech support, and they just plain do not function. I’m reasonably tech savvy, but these will have to be returned. I’ve left one star because that’s required to post a review. Buyer beware.

Quick and easy setup, didn’t have any issues linking these with Alexa.
Is the plug switched on or off?
Since the last update a few days ago I no longer know if my plug is switched on or off, up until the update if the plug is switched on the plug symbol in the app would be colour green and no colour if the plug is switched off but now since the update there is no colour so I can wonder if I’ve switched the plug in and go into the app to see if I have done it but because there is no longer a colour to signify the plug has been switched on I no longer know until I get home

Absolute CR&P
Plug dropped off network and no matter what I do I can’t get it reconnected. Have wasted hours trying to sort this but am now consigning it to the bin. App is totally useless
Doesn’t work.
Useless. Tried a few times, including the troubleshooting but couldn’t get it to work. The plus are going back and the app is being deleted. Don’t waste your money on Tenda, spend a little more to get a functioning device and app.
Finally got it to work with alexa
I could not get the plugs to work with alexa. I had to remove any special characters from my password and just use numbers, upper and lower case, then it linked the account and now works with my alexa

Worked for the first 3 days then app asked me to sign in then nothing blank tried creating new accounts guess what yes totally useless product now because I can’t use them without app well done Tenda I will not buy one of your products again and will continue to advise everybody not to buy in future poor is an understatement and 1 star is over achievable for you lot

Stopped working
Cannot log into my account despite changing password and deleting app. No help offered anywhere
Can’t login back into the app.
I went in to the app into yesterday morning absolutely fine, then I went into it last night, it’s asking for my login in details, I did forgot password and got an email to change it, I changed it and still can’t login, over 10 devices are now rendered useless.
