Rubbish following update
Following an app update it has completely lost contact with my wifi extender devices and I can no longer manage my wifi mesh. This is a VERY poor app

Doesnt work with A33 model
It doesnt work with the A33. Despite having the app and having configured the A33 ext with my wifi modem on 2.4G it simply doesnt work. Tried to reinitialize both the modem and A33 still nothing. Im so tired after hours of trying… please do something. When I click on the plus button it the app then try to connect my A33 that is showing, it says: impossible to connect to A33. The light on A33 is blue!

Too Simple
It’s very simple. It Tells me what I need to know, but it’s still lacks in bells and whistles. An example it doesn’t tell me what channel my router is using.

Modules stopped working and can’t be added again
Fine for 3 years, then 2 mesh modules suddenly stopped working (base unit still fine). Can’t add them back to the app despite doing factory resets. Very disappointing.
you guys are doing it wrong
this app and wifi router is really great has been serving well for my pc for about a year and have had no problems the only thing that is confusing is the setup you guys are doing the setup wrong and also have to go to the website aswell as the app do multiple security checks and remember the password and yeah its very easy!

Good but there’s an issue
The app or the mesh device isn’t good with device naming, I use this for business and I can’t tell who’s device is who’s I have to be there to rename it at all times and the when ever it switches off and turn back on it doesn’t work until I unplug it and plug it back in. It Sucks.

I’ve had this Tenda Mesh WiFi router for a few years now. And when it works, it’s great. But don’t touch it, or even look at it sideways or it will stop working and cost you days of your life getting it up and running again. The last time it just needed a firmware update. It never prompted this, it wait to need it until we had a power outage. So we spent half a day resetting the unit and troubleshooting shooting and finally figured it out. This time I literally unplugged it for about 5 minutes while moving the modem to a different spot. Didn’t even move the router at all. And now we haven’t had internet for going on 12 hours. Spend 30 minutes on the phone with Comcast, last night and another 30 mins today. Sounds like it’s a router issue… big surprise. So I try to call Tenda, and they don’t open until 1:30pm my time. So I have to wait 5 hours until I can talk to them… I don’t recommend this brand whatsoever. If I had the money, I would buy something entirely. But if you are a smart consumer and checking out the app reviews before a purchase. Just don’t. This app is trash, it isn’t helpful for troubleshooting at all.

Dodgy software
Initially pleased with my mesh system but speeds getting worse. Fixed WiFi cam on top floor of our house often connect to node on ground floor and ground floor WiFi cam connects to nodes on top floor which surely must be a bug? Signal can’t be stronger on these faraway nodes, makes no sense. Sitting upstairs for an hour yet iPhone connected to node downstairs despite having a node less than a foot away and fast roaming enabled. Toggling WiFi off then on connects it immediately to nearest node which I shouldn’t need to do manually. No firmware updates since I bought these so I’m guessing I’m stuck with these performing poorly nodes..
Gone back to connecting to WiFi straight from router getting on average 50Mb/s faster speeds. These mesh nodes and software are complete garbage.

I can’t believe it’s not better
Shockingly bad, app randomly doesn’t see your Tenda network. Randomly resets the primary node to its default SSID. Each node has the same default ID so difficult to troubleshoot. If this was a piece of junior school coding it wouldn’t have gotten a pass mark.
Total Blackout
I bought these cameras to keep an eye on our home while wintering down south for 5 months. Five weeks after we left the Sync Module shut down. No power interruption or and not due to wi-fi going down. It just freaking shut down. Had kids try to reset but nothing. Was not a happy camper.
Auto system maintenance
Is it possible to add more options to reboot the system weekly or monthly? Thanks.

Gutes Preis Leistungsverhältnis und auch nach Jahren lässt sich das System um eine Nova Einheit erweitern. Da ich generell Probleme mit der Verbindung habe bin ich immer wieder erstaunt wie schnell sich die Nova hochfahren lässt gute vier Sterne.
Never had issues
Been using tenda app for several years, never had issues with it and use parental controls to set limits / downtimes. Only fault I would say is, it needs a daylight saving function. so I don't need keep changing the times each daylight saving adjustment. Apart from that all is 👍
Piece of garbage
I’ve already set up my devices but every time my internet oscillates (this mesh devices made my internet oscillate more than it used to), I don’t see my devices there so I can’t fix or understand the issue through the app.

Se desconecta
Siempre tiene que haber un teléfono prendido el dueño de la aplicación y estar la refrescando para que funcione. Si el teléfono principal se aleja de la red todos los demás dispositivos se desconectan no lo recomiendo
