About

TenderPlant turns routine houseplant care into a mindful ritual of noticing. The heart of the app is a growth chronicle: you sit with a companion plant and log the unfurling of a new leaf, a gentle tilt toward sunlight, a stretch, a blush of color, a quiet rest, or a bloom hint. Each moment can hold a written noticing, vitality, which way the plant leaned, how many quiet minutes you sat, and a photo. Those stills become a private photo collection so you can watch resilient life change over time. Companions live in a Grove you can search and sort. Categorize each plant by type (trailing, upright, succulent, fernish, blooming, vine) and light need (shade-soft, filtered, bright window, east morning). A simple dew timer counts down from the last sip you logged — sip, soak, or mist — on an interval you choose. It is not a feeding calendar and not a species encyclopedia. Optional on-device dew reminders can fire when a timer is due. The Unfurl River is a flowing, time-ordered stream of moments across all companions, with search and filters by kind and vitality. Open a plant’s Stem to see unfurl rings, a photo filmstrip, sip history, and Then/Now when two stills exist. Sunlean gathers tilt directions into a compass and shows ritual cadence — how often you sat with growth across recent weeks — with a derived insight about unfurls, tilts, quiet minutes, and due dew timers.
