It let me do 1 lesson and then it cost money one of the reviews said it was free what?!?! It is NOT free at all

I want to subscribe but found out that the price is set in USD it’s actually a lot of money in my country so I can’t subscribe but apart from that the app is really awesome

I am extremely disappointed with this app.
Let's start with the fact that free users can only study for about five minutes a day. Because of this ridiculous limitation, I decided to buy a subscription. There are only two plans available: monthly and yearly. Since I wasn't ready to spend, excuse me, $80 on a yearly subscription right away, I bought the monthly plan instead. And even that costs around $15, which is outrageously expensive for what this app offers.
Developers, do you realize that ChatGPT costs only a few dollars more per month and provides infinitely more features and possibilities?
But that was only the beginning of my disappointment.
After using the app, I realized that it is clearly aimed at A1-level learners. All lessons are basically beginner level. Advanced content simply does not exist. Yet during registration, the app asks about your language level. Why? What is the point if it doesn't affect your learning experience in any way? That remains a mystery.
The ability to create your own AI tutor seemed fun and innovative at first. However, after spending time customizing my tutor, I discovered that it spoke with a strange accent. As a result, I had to switch back to the standard tutor, Mina.
What also bothered me was the complete lack of practice beyond speaking and listening skills. Why not add features that have already been successfully implemented elsewhere? Vocabulary exercises, grammar practice, writing tasks, reading comprehension, even Duolingo figured this out years ago.
In the end, I can only say that this app needs a lot of work. The idea itself is not bad, but the execution and especially the price deserve no more than 1 out of 5 stars.
Honestly, I regret spending my money on it. I could have practiced with ChatGPT instead and gotten ten times more value from it.
I thought I had discovered something extraordinary and innovative, but unfortunately I was wrong.
I do not recommend this app.
I definitely will not be renewing my subscription.
And seriously, guys, you either need to lower the price or significantly raise the quality and level of your lessons. Put more heart into your product, and maybe then people will feel that it's actually worth paying for.

Can’t even try one lesson, what should I pay for?
I choose wrong language to learn, for 1 min open lesson, then - PAY FOR MORE. or wait 24 hours. Hm… OKAY, I have waited 24 hours and…. I change language …. and I wish to TRY just try even 1 lesson free - but I ALREADY SHOULD PAY… why? What’s wrong with this app? What should I pay for?

Please change the "practice vocab" feature to the flashcards being in mother language to learning language. So that on the front card it is the mother/known language word and you have to guess the word of the language you are learning, ie the vocab to learn is at the back card.
The practice vocab feature doesn't bring anything as it is currently, and I dont want to manually export all vocab just to switch the direction of flashcards.

The payment
I hate tenmi bucause it says that I had to pay to go to pro and I don’t want that I just wanted a a lesson that tutor me for free the fact that that I can’t really tutor
Literally only available to use if you’re paying
It’s great I guess but the app needs to be more accomodating to free users who maybe don’t have the money to indulge into a monthly subscription. This just gives Duolingo all the more power to get every user onto their app even though tenmin can really help with conversation speaking and actually being able to talk the language. Please do because I am not paying for this when Duolingo is free

This is just feedback. I only gave it a three stars because usually things have free trials and when you have free trials, people are more likely to buy and use the app.

그리고 언어 악센트가 배우고자 하는 언어의 악센트가 아닌 설명하는 언어의 악센트로 발음함
설명 언어는 영어로 하고 배우는 언어는 일어로 하면 영어 악센트의 일본어를 듣게됨
이런 이유로 구독할 이유가 딱히 없는듯

Jeu d’apprentissage avec du potentiel, l’IA est expressive, te pose des questions, fait de bonne remarque si tu faire une erreur de prononciation. Il y a bon univers de lesson.
Maintenant le soucis est que on a qu’une lesson avec une durée de 5min et ensuite il faut payer pour continuer. Honnêtement je préférerai qu’on ait des pub à chaque fin de conversation avec l’IA ou quelque chose comme ça, ou une alternative, pour que les nouveaux joueurs puissent se faire un propre avis sur le jeu pour ensuite potentiellement acheter la version premium et obtenir des avantages.

As a very very very very beginner, the elementary section isn’t very elementary friendly. It completely ignores that you literally know NOTHING about the words or anything… would recommend another app. :’(

It’s a great app, but the payment for it is annoying. You can do one lesson without paying but then you have to pay 15- 90 dollars. Good app-ish.
