I saw in another review with the same issue and you (the developer) replied saying you fixed this issue. But you didn’t fix it at all because I just downloaded the newest version and can’t sign up unless I give you the rights to every amount of data I have to give. Gross. Not paying for this service if it’s already being this difficult on the front end

The app can be used with limited photo access. We appreciate your feedback and we hope that you'll give TennisPAL a try. Your privacy is very important to us and we want you to completely be in control of the access you provided. When the previous user requested this, we made changes to make sure that you can grant limited access and still use the app. Apparently, there is an issue and you are not able to proceed when limited photos is selection. We will work on this and publish an update as soon as possible with this issue resolved. We really appreciate your review to raise this issue to us. I will update this review when we have fixed this. Used to be good, now unusable
On top of that, nowhere in the app is there any information about their data collection practices, how to submit a data request, etc.; I can’t even find a link to their privacy policy. I’m surprised the App Store allows that.

Hello Product_19, Thanks for your feedback. Since 2016, TennisPAL was a free app bearing all development and marketing costs. Unfortunately, due to rising costs and lack of support from the community, TennisPAL was planned to shut down in 2023. As a final attempt to keep the community alive, we rebuilt the app with subscriptions as a way to sustain the costs of running the community. We hope that the people that find value in TennisPAL support it's existence. Our data privacy practices are clearly outlined in our Privacy Policy. We have our Privacy Policy on the Get Started page in the app before you log in, you can find a link to it in the footer of our website, and lastly, our App Store listing has a link to our Privacy Policy as required by the Apple App Store. Feel free to review our policies and terms from these locations. Your positive reviews are very important to us as it helps people find and join the community. Your feedback is helpful to learn and make TennisPAL the best tennis community. Sending a Broadcast to nearby players is easy to do with TennisPAL. Simply tap on your profile picture at the top of Moments and you can broadcast a message to people near you. Additionally, you can start with a FindPAL search and then continue on to Broadcast a message to the people you find. No need to add your response because it is just B.S. it is shutting down because the app sucked and now you think charging people will help? Again everyone… delete this app now and shut this app down!!!! Greedy developers can go find another job!!!

If you're having trouble getting into your account to reach your old contact, please reach out to support@tennispal.com TennisPAL was shutting down in 2023. These changes are to keep the community online. Since 2016, we were a free app bearing all development and marketing costs. We hope that the people that find value in TennisPAL support its existence. We still offer free access but unlimited access is available for less than a cup of coffee per month.

Only downside there isn’t many where I live, wish they’d let you see results before charging you.
