I am obsessed with this app I have used hinge/bumble for years but I LOVE this because you get a 10 minute vibe check with the person rather than just blindly going for drinks. So so good and have met some great people on it

The video chat is a good flavor for dating. Cuts out the small talk, see if you like the person and then you get the number. Adam (the founder) is onto something
Not getting a Tenr
I’m not getting any match or proposal why is that? I have completed profile set up but no one poppin up why? Is the app faulty?
Please Avoid - Pretty sick and twisted
This app loves to torture and punish its users. You cancel a date a week in advance and it “ghost strikes you” making you feel bad and guilty for being responsible. It loves to message you and ping you constantly - harassing its users so it gets annoying. The developer is obviously a sadist and did this to hurt vulnerable people simply looking for a relationship

Optimal dating app
After having multiple dating apps, I can truly say that this one is unique in a sense that it does not give you tons of options and it allows the system to properly match people together. Although I am still single, I feel as if I will not be for long because this truly does have quality over quantity. It does not give you the reflexive loop of always thinking that there is something better out there. Obviously people match better in person versus online, but this is a great alternative. If you are a working adult and not a lot of free time to meet people during normal hours or at night at events. 5/5 stars!

$10 for a phone number is insane
This app seemed like a great idea at first—cut through the noise and just talk to someone for ten minutes to get a sense of their personality. But now the model for this very new app is that you have to pay $10 for one single match, and that just gets you a phone number. If the app developers think I’m paying $10 for a phone number, they’re delusional… deleting and telling friends not to download.

Thanks for your feedback. The cost of $6 - $10 is only if you and the other person both like each other after the video call. There is no cost to the video date itself.

You have to pay to meet people, there is no free tier, and the meeting is like $5. $5 per date is insane.

Really interesting
This is putting into play what a lot of relationships psychologists say to do, meet quickly! Long dates lead to limerence, but 10 minutes is a good amount of time.

The problem with every single dating app, is that people waste time with small talk that doesn’t go anywhere. Then it’s too hard to get a phone number and continue a conversation.
The reason this app is so amazing, is because there’s no such thing as small talk. You will instantly know exactly what the person looks like, so people can’t hide behind fake pictures. And then on top of it, You instantly go into a 10 minute conversation. The reason it’s so good, is because if you cannot stay on the phone for 10 minutes and have a conversation, you won’t be able to survive a two hour date.

Unattractive matches
They need to figure out how to pair people with people that they find attractive.
Designed by men for men
The app feels overly optimized for the male experience. Dates are low cost and effort, which fair thats the concept, but the lack of profile, prompts or background information beyond photos reduces the 10-minute call to either surface level small talk and an appearance check. Or women are left to initiate questions about education or career, topics that matter to most women, but creates an awkward, transactional dynamic. The end result is a system that seems perfectly designed for men. They can quickly assess appearance, while convincing themselves they’re screening for genuine interest rather than status or career, an assumption that doesn’t really hold, even if those subjects don’t come up immediately. Think the app would be 10x better with a real profile and prompts. Even just prompts/interests if you must so the 10 min chats have something to hook into.

Amazing app
It’s really a lovely experience. Questionnaire is more thorough than any other app and it really does give you strong, compatible matches. Super easy to use. I thought I would get nervous on the video call format and it was actually fun! Highly recommend!
