Make the app more user friendly. It feels very clunky and not intuitive at all.

I noticed a small issue with the app and sent a support ticket, expecting that like every other company it would go to a void and maybe eventually get fixed. Nope. I got an email from a real person just hours later letting me know the fixed app was submitted for App Store review and sure enough the issue was fixed for me the next day! Amazing support.

Previously Worked on macOS
Hi guys. Thanks for making the app installable on mac; I keep it open when watching Board Lords videos to help see the route. Unfortunately I just updated to the latest app version (5.0.5) and was seeing “x did not load” type popups for every interaction on macOS Tahoe 26.2. I have reverted back to my previous app version (4.3.3) and it works again.
Not deducting any stars since this app probably isn’t really intended to be ran on mac anyways. Cheers

Good app but very flawed rating & grading system
Sending forces you to grade and rate the route immediately. Because you can’t take your time to consider it, and you have to give an opinion, people just pick whatever it currently is listed as. This makes the crowd sourced grade and rating pretty much useless.
If they solve this problem and make this information reliable it would be a fantastic app.
Introducing some routes that are graded by experts rather than the voting system would be very helpful to show people what the grade expectations are too.
The video instructions are nice, but they’re very inconvenient for quick referencing, so searching online for text instructions was more convenient at the gym.

When I first had the app, there was never a “workout Ai” icon. But after the new update there was.
Pretty much the best board app
Simple and easy to use. Possibly would like to see a few UX improvements such as icons or better filter grouping to speed up certain processes. But overall the functionality is fast and easy to use, with plenty of options, albeit displayed in quite a long form.

Frustrating UI
Would really appreciate if the devs made a slider or dropdown or something on the route list to quickly show only a certain grade. Right now takes almost 10 clicks to get to a certain grade. Crazy

Great app but needs features
I love the TB2 (I own one!) and I love this app for the most part. It’s stable and just works unlike some other board apps 😬. But it lacks some features that would be suuuper nice to have.
For instance why can’t I search/filter for climbs I have done if I haven’t done them on both sides (mirror)? Same with this search for other users.
Why can’t you filter in the logbook at all? By date or grade…
These features would make it 5 ⭐️ IMO

This app is hot garbage
When I delete a published board, I can't name a new one the same name. When I delete a board, it's still in my circuit? There's no way to copy or duplicate to change an existing climb (variations). It's impossible to sort my creations as a separate category or tab. Certain characters can't be put in the name (+). The picture for the boards holds are shockingly low res.

The actual tension board is great.
However app is buggy when tapping “check mark” in the UINavigationBar. Error message is “could not save ascent” in a UIAlertView. This works 50% of the time. Probably some 400. This never happened with kilterboard app, did you change the backend or client networkManager? Where are your unit tests?
Also “log quick ascent” button is missing. Why? It should be shown 24/7. Idk why I need to rate and log number of ascents on every single V0.
C’mon devs. I could fix this in 30 seconds. Otherwise app is good.

Difficult to Sort and Find Climbs
Compared to the original app and the apps for the other boards, this is disappointing. I find it difficult to sort climbs, I feel there’s a ton of features missing and I don’t enjoy my tension board sessions because of it.
How come I can’t see the problems??
I have played a lot with the search engine on this app, and my friends are able to pull up a large list of climbs that I cannot. Has anyone else had this experience? I wanna see the cool climbs, any help is appreciated.
Board is great, app is so buggy!
Would love them to fix the bugs which make random problems pop up. Have to reset board and app constantly. Swipe back and forth to same problem makes random holds light up with random colors
No Frills Training Tool
The app isn’t flashy, but it just works and does the basics extremely well. Cheers to the devs for the solid training tool.

I’ve looked at all the menus in the app and I can’t figure out how to connect to a board via Bluetooth.
