Top reviews

Decently structured

It’s pretty good, I wish it had an option to see the note in written form than press the corresponding fret. Overall I like the app

Practice makes perfect

I highly recommend Tenuto for beginners. Its game-like exercises make learning fun while repetition and instant feedback reinforce memory and build faster note recognition.

Love

Love this app. Plz make chord identification mode available with grand staff (option of 1 or 2 notes in bass)

1 sentence review.

1 sentence: Absolutely great CENTRALIZED hub for training your ear and instant recognition.

A few more sentences: I've never written a review before and I probably won't again. For context I am a serious young professional pianist and use this app for about an hour a day where I have set up to do a certain amount of time on each of the exercisespp. This app is simply amazing for REFINING great aural and "flash card" like skills (such as note recognition including those on less frequently used clefs such as alto tenor bass soprano etc). This app WILL NOT teach you teach you these skills but after a few piano lessons or you learn your scales online you're pretty much ready to greatly benefit from this app if you are looking to become amazing with these skills. Don't bother with the app if you don't really care to improve your aural or instant recognition of certain topics as this is what the app is centered on. (It also has some guitar fretboard items that I'm not familiar with there usefulness).

Highly reccomend this app for 5$ it's a steal.

Last as a note to the developers: The app is great but please add the ability to pin exercises or at least hide categories or exercises that the user may choose. Please of course be sure that these settings persist from session to session!

Thank you so much!

Good app

Love this for music studies, thanks! Please add more features in the future!

Get This App!!

If you’re on the search for an app to help you reinforce your musical foundations, this is the app. It’s not instructional so much as it is access to exercises that will help you lock in the knowledge you’re getting from your lessons. I’ve merely explored it for about 5 minutes and feel like I’m stealing it for $4.99. Well worth the money. Get this app!

Fun

This is fun to do during my down time.

I love it

This app helped me in my band life very much, nothing more i can request for besides adding a valve identifier for notes for things like trumpet, baritone, and mellophone.

Best aural training app and more

No nonsense app, clean interface and highly functional. Many thanks!

Perfect

So helpful! Love the fact there is no subscription just a one time purchase. Screw subscriptions!

Maybe I’m just a bit slow??

As a noob I’m finding it hard to use. I can sing but am trying to put labels to notes and keys. Will delete this review if I figure it out.

i love this app

this app is phenomenal and is the only app you should ever pay $5 for

Amazing

I love this app it helps me so much I can learn a lot it teaches me from beginner to intermediate to advanced

Essential for musicians

It is a must for music majors. I have an A in music theory thanks to this app.

Wrong billing

App store says $6.99 but I am charged $17.59 i.e. more than double. Developer, can you please check?

Great app

Great if u want to work on theory. Many adjustments can be made in the settings so you can focus on exactly what u need to work on.

From the Golden Age of Apps

This is a fantastic app, the way iOS apps used to be. Pay once, get amazing features with no ads. I’ve been using this to memorize the notes on a bass fretboard and it has everything I want. It’s highly configurable, I’ve started looking ahead to learning scales, arpeggios, and intervals and it’s perfect. I wish more apps worked like this.
