MAC COMPANION REQUIRED TePe controls location simulation through the TePe companion on a Mac. Initial setup requires the iPhone to use Developer Mode and to be paired with the Mac. The Mac and iPhone communicate on your local or private network. Static position simulation remains free; route scenarios and AI Chat require TePe Pro. PRIVACY AND CONTROL Connection secrets are stored in Apple Keychain. QR pairing uses a short-lived, single-use token. AI prompts are processed by the model on your paired Mac. Map, route and purchase requests may be handled by Apple, OpenRouteService or the model registry according to the feature you choose. Before purchasing, install the compatible Mac companion and confirm that your iPhone can connect to it.
