Tessera Studio

Tessera turns any photo, or a blank canvas, into a crisp, colorful grid pattern you can craft, print, or share. Whether you're making pixel art, a cross-stitch chart, a fuse-bead template, or a tile mosaic, Tessera gives you pixel-perfect control from the first cell to the final export. Drop in a photo and Tessera maps it to a clean palette and a grid of your chosen size. Want to start from scratch? Paint cell by cell with a resizable brush, block in areas fast, and mirror your work for instant symmetry. Every color is yours to tweak! You can pull the palette straight from your photo, remap it to colors you already have, or push for maximum contrast. And because a "pixel" doesn't have to be a square, Tessera lets you change the cell shape, import your own SVG to build honeycomb, round, or any-shape mosaics that a plain square-grid app can't make. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Turn photos into patterns: smart color reduction to any palette and any grid size • Design at any size: from a 16×16 icon to a wall-sized mosaic • Custom cell shapes: square pixels, or import an SVG to tile any shape you like • Full palette control: from image, true colors, max contrast, tone-map, or your own colors • Paint by hand: resizable brush, fast area blockify, and select-copy-paste editing • Instant symmetry: mirror across the center with live guides • Print-ready & vector export: high-resolution PNG/JPG, or scalable SVG for signage and cutting machines • Build your library: save designs and palettes and reopen them anytime MADE FOR Pixel artists and game makers, cross-stitch and needlepoint charters, fuse-bead and mosaic builders, tile and stained-glass designers, diamond-painting fans, or anyone who thinks in grids.
