About

The objective is to simplify the use of TOMS an Asset Management System. The TOMS app signifies a simplification of our system that will cater specifically to the needs of our user groups. The uniqueness of this app lies in its user-specific approach, where each user group will only see the features, they require for their roles. This not only streamlines their work but also reduces the risk of errors and improves overall productivity. This app will be used by tire technicians and their managers at a mine site (organization) to do inspections on the tires for vehicles at the mine sites. The main focus would be, but not limited to, the dump truck at the mine site. When logging in, the user will only see the Organization that they have access too, which is defined in the TOMS (EAM) application. Once the user selects the Organization they are at, the app downloads only the necessary information to enable the user to do maintenance inspections for the vehicles on the mine site. There will be a list of released Work Orders that they can work on, and they would be able to create new Work Orders as well. Once they select the Work Order and start button they will get a picture of the truck axle layout. From that page, they see details of each Tires and position and they can start the inspection work. In the inspection page, They would need to click each tire to capture the data specific to that position/tire combination. For example they will click Position 1 if they are capturing the tire pressure, remaining tread depth (rtd), any findings and pictures for the tire under the driver. then they can save that information. Once they have completed their inspection they can 'Finish' the work order from the truck axle layout page. This is the PrePROD CHAMPS version.
