About

Most pregnancy apps are built for one person. This one is built for two. Send your partner one invite. From then on - your week, your bump photos, and your daily log appear on his phone too, updating as you go. He sees everything and changes nothing. No account for him to make, no second app to buy. CHOOSE HOW IT TALKS TO YOU Two tones, and you can switch between them anytime. Classic is calm and straightforward. Unhinged is the same information with jokes and a hint of sarcasm. For example: Week 8 is "Uterus Grows" in Classic, and "Waistband Rebellion" in Unhinged. In week 25, baby is the size of a rutabaga - or "a bottle of wine, unopened, obviously." The medical details underneath never change. Only the tone does. QUIET, NOT CLUTTERED Open most pregnancy apps and you get a feed, a forum, a shop, a streak, and a red badge asking you to come back. Tether has six tabs and nothing to sell you. It's built to look like the rest of your iPhone — plain type, soft colors, one thing per screen — so checking in takes seconds and asks nothing of you on a bad day. SEE BABY GROW, AND TAP IT Every week has its own illustration, from a curled embryo at week 4 to a full-term baby at 40. Tap it and it wiggles. Around it: what's developing this week, how big baby is right now, and what's happening in your body, not just the baby's. THE DAILY LOG Weight, with a chart and your change since yesterday, this week, and per week on average Water, against a goal you set Medications and vitamins, dose by dose Mood, up to eight a day, because some days are complicated A note for the day, on paper that looks like paper CRAVINGS Log what you're craving and he's told while it's still true — so if he's near a shop, he knows. They stop counting after six hours. BUMP PHOTOS, EVERY TWO WEEKS Each one unlocks as you reach it, and a carousel swipes through your whole shape-shifting year. He sees each new one appear. APPLE HEALTH AND APPLE WATCH Your weight comes in from Apple Health on its own, so you don't type it twice. If you wear an Apple Watch, your latest heart rate and blood oxygen show up on your page - and on his. There's a watch app too. Log water, medications, weight and mood from your wrist, see the week and days left without your phone, and keep the countdown on your watch face. ON YOUR HOME SCREEN Widgets for the current week, a countdown to your due date, and this week's illustration. MAKE IT YOURS Six themes with matching app icons, a nickname for baby that the whole app picks up, and reminders for water, medications and bump photos. NO ACCOUNT. NO SERVER. NO ADS. There is no Tether account, because there is no Tether server. Everything you log stays on your phone and in your own iCloud, and the only person who ever sees it is the partner you invite. Nothing is sold, because there is nobody to sell it to. ALSO INSIDE A trimester checklist for the things that are easy to forget Your week-by-week journey, for baby and for you Export everything as a spreadsheet, for your records or an appointment Tether shares general information about pregnancy, not medical advice. Always follow your doctor or midwife.

What's New in Tether

1.1

September 24, 2026

Tether now works on your wrist. APPLE WATCH A full watch app: log water, medications, weight and mood without reaching for your phone, and see the week and days left at a glance. Complications put days-left on your watch face. If you're following along, it shows her day instead of yours. CRAVINGS Log what you're craving and your partner is told while it's still true. They stop counting after six hours, because a craving at 2am isn't news at lunchtime. LOG FROM YOUR OWN PAGE Tap any tile on your page — weight, water, mood, medications, today's note — and log it right there. NEW WIDGETS FOR YOUR HOME SCREEN Today's weight, water, medications and mood on your home screen — beside this week's illustration, or beside your progress ring. ALSO - Bump photos can now come from your photo library, not just the camera - He can tap your latest bump photo to open it full size - Every week in Journey now shows that week's illustration - Smoother scrolling through the log's date strips - Fixes for the Apple Watch app on smaller watches - iCloud sync fixes, so older entries can't be left behind on your partner's phone
