Very cool idea!!
Love the idea of having a go-to app for finding good bars wherever I happen to be within the Lone Star State!
As it’s so new, I assume the app is still being worked on and that there are more features planned for the future. As is, you may be better off just hitting up the IG page if you’re looking for info, since (as the other reviewer mentioned) right now there’s no pictures or descriptions. Hopefully photos like those seen on social media are planned!
I also agree that having filters would make this a hell of a great tool. Being able to sift through the various nearby results via tags like “divey” or “upscale” or “specials today,” that type of stuff. Obviously if more info is needed then Yelp is always out there.
The core concept here is excellent (speaking as a Texan), I just think a few more features could really truly make this app shine.

Decent
I like the app as I follow the insta page but I’m not a fan of the map having places marked incorrectly. Wish there was a way to report incorrect locations.

Almost 5 stars
The only thing that makes it fall short for me is the lack of info. It would be helpful to have one or two photos and a quick blurb, like a streamlined version of what we get on the ig page without having all the overwhelm of sifting through posts *or* Google Maps. A dice roll feature would be cool for when you’re feeling adventurous—setting a distance radius and randomly generating a dive to hit up 🎲 Or a filter for places with cigarette machines, pool tables, etc!

Super Convenient
Very useful, no searching on the instagram and all great bars. Thank you TX Dives for the research and dedication to the game. 11/10, I use this app OFTEN in new areas!

Could this be THE GREATEST APP ever created?
Many people are saying this.
