Does not decipher well
I purchased this app hoping to transfer notes taken at a conference to digital, but the digital copies were just gibberish. I would have to retype all of my notes.

Better Than Universal Copy
This Text Capture app in the Apple I-OS Apps Store is like the Universal Copy app that I bought in an Android Apps Store. I tried using Universal Copy, but I could not completely understand how it works. In contrast, this Apple I-OS Text Capture app is easy to use and I like its rich blue color with lighter colors over a black background. Also, for the features of this app, I like how I don’t have to select any text characters because if I can select text characters on the display screen, I can copy, paste, and share the selection without needing to take a screen shot. With this app, I can take the text characters from app descriptions of apps in the Apple I-OS Apps Store. Those descriptions are not allowing the standard select text option to copy, paste, and share. This Text Capture App is dis-connecting text characters from a screen display and allowing a user to edit the dis-connected text like a basic text editor. The name of this app goes well with my user name for writing reviews and I like it. As soon as I can get a generic, major brand gift card such as Discover, Vanilla Visa, American Express, or Master Card, I will pay the one-time small fee to buy the Professional, Premium, or Plus version that lasts forever.

I am extremely disappointed with the Text Capture app. Despite being a previous paying customer, I am unable to restore my purchase. The app fails to recognize my prior payment, and there’s no clear support or resolution provided. This is unacceptable for a paid app and raises serious concerns about reliability and customer care. Until this issue is resolved, I cannot recommend this app to others.

Recién lo estoy usando y , decepcionado con la aplicación, parecía excelente,, pero es un desastre con el resultado de escaneo de documentos de texto , no tiene buen OCR las palabras todas inelegibles.. no se le entiende al resultado… y eso que uso documentos con letra impresa.. ya me imagino que será con manuscritos… ojalá mejoren su aplicación.. gracias

Not free for OCR function and not accurate
The app shows it’s free but if you actually want to use it for OCR purposes, it’s $3.99. Switch and bait; just state it is a paid app.
Used the OCR function and it removes the formatting. Therefore plan on spending significant time re-formatting. The accuracy of the text capture is about 80%.

Cant figure it out
I only purchased this app this afternoon. I have no idea how to find what I’ve saved. There are no instructions except save to clipboard. Where is clipboard???
