Awful.
Gave it nice plain black text on white background and it could not identify one word correctly. I don't know how other reviewers had success when it was so far off for me.

The app does scanning text in photo, but fails to detect correct characters and words even tested with screenshots containing Arial text font.

Can't read text at all. Gets a couple words then I get sentences of random symbols. Waste if iPhone space
Go elsewhere for a text scanner.
This app cannot read a simple high resolution screencap of black and white text with good contrast. Also, even though it's a paid app, it has aggressively persistent full-screen popup ads.

A "Pro" app with full screen ads?
I cannot believe that this app was updated, being a paid for "Pro" version, to add a full screen start up ad, and another full screen ad when you press the settings icon. I'm now looking for another app to replace this bait-and-switch BS.
