This app is a total con. The pricing for the subscriptions are ridiculous and it cannot read a basic PDF.
unusable after half an hour of use
with limitend and very annoying voices, all of a sudden it stopped reading words and just started reading the l e t t e r s o f t h e w o r d s i n s t e a d. was that annoying to read? imagine hearing it
Mirror Effect
I've been trying to figure out this app. And it wont stop reading the text backwards. Dont have the time to figure it out.

if you don’t get premium the voice is indecipherable and so robotic that it doesn’t even read words right. also not user friendly.
Dishonest
Doesn’t disclose how “unlimited” it is, it will draw you in promising unlimited but really is not you only have a limited number of words per month. You will only learn about said limited words after you give them money
Does not read alternate text
TTS does not read the alternate text (alttext) that is often added to images in PDFs to aid the blind. Adding this capability would be useful to a great many people.
Simple and works
Chose this one because it does exactly what it says it will, and because the developer doesn’t use it to collect your personal info - every other PDF reader app I could find seemed to be a thinly veiled attempt to collect as much user info as possible. All of it unnecessary.
I pay for the OpenAI voices. The natural diction makes the text a hundred times easier to listen to.

It is not reading clear anymore. It skips paragraphs and it double plays when you’re trying to pause it.
Rubbish
They charge me for the app but I only have access to free voice options. Can’t contact them using “contact us” button

Review
The app is very helpful for PDF reading. Still doesn’t read beginning words in sentences ( after points for example ) which sometimes bothers to understand the concept. Hope to see improvement , thank you.

Best free version I’ve seen so far
The fact that the app uses the built in voices already installed on the phone is very smart. Obviously you get ads when you pause and replay but only then (as far as I’ve noticed so far). I use another two apps to help me stay focused when reading books, but they wouldn’t load a big pdf for free. This app did it with no issues.

if you submit a doc in spanish de reader.. reads in english and viceversa

Awesome app
This is a great and extremely helpful app. Also, your content remains on your laptop so your PDFs remain safe (and not uploaded to the cloud).
App is not letting me quit
This app is so annoying, first It's not free and second it has a major flaw, since it only cares about money it prompts you to start the trial, you cant quit it on mac, not even restart, i tried dragging it to the trash can and that didnt even work, it doesnt let me press the X button.
