Unusable
Crashing every 40 seconds or so. It’s taken me about 20 minutes to get halfway through a 7 minute piece

Lag issue
I would give this a 5 if not for the lag
Just wanted to inform that there seems to be a major lag when playing the text-to-speech that didn’t exist before. I noticed that the lag seems to be sweeping over all of the text and is greater on the front end but lessens as you get toward the end of you text.
So, say you want to hear how your text sounds so you initiate the player.. there is a massive lag before it starts if your text is long. Then say as you fix things and work your way down through your text, using the paragraph breaks where you can play the text at certain points, the further you get through your work, the less the lag.
I hope you can fix this as earlier versions did not do this-or if they did-it wasn't noticeable (maybe a second or two), but now it's terrible. At times I wait to hear my text read by minutes in some cases.
This is a problem especially when having to do editing. Each time this lag is there and over time, leads to a great loss of time - and deadlines are unforgiving.

Worked once, then forces paid upgrade
I downloaded and installed it because it was free. Zero reference to a subscription required.
I got text copied in, started listening to it once and then the second time I tried to click pay > it stopped working and said I need to sign up for an on-going payment each month via subscription to listen.
It’s ridiculous to list an app for free and then allow 1 time playing (didn’t even export the audio!) and then it’s locked up.
I was trying to make the voice sound good, adjusting some settings ,and then I clicked play again and it forced a paid upgrade.

Continually ‘quit unexpectedly’ / unusable
The app seemed like a decent albeit basic and unnatural sounding text-to-speech app. Unfortunately, it kept crashing while I was wrist deep in soapy water doing dishes trying to listen to a study guide I made. This app ain’t it.
issues with text disappearing and voice playback.
have issues with text disappearing and not saving when i hit save. frusterting becuase I've gtried to do it 4 or 5 times now with the sme results.
need to fix its own error mesages
implement ai to fix errors so i can hear more. Also a the pause button doesnt pause its stops playing all together

Can't upload pdfs and when you do copy over a whole paper of text, it doesn't read it. Waste of time.

I wish it worked, but it can’t handle large bits of type (not really that big like 12 pages)
precise diction !
The only text to speech App that I’ve found which correctly pronounced the word “commutator”, and with a very natural sounding English ( British ) accent. Very impressive performance.
Delete option
So far great and affordable, but I am not noticing a way to delete files I’ve made accidentally

first day of trying this app
this app is easy to use and free (so far). The interface is clear and clean. I will keep using and trying to explore more.
