Limited vocabulary
One would assume ”crest” is valid,so I also assume the overcrowded screen has a limited number of words to display.

The absolute worst representation of the old Pocket PC Text Twist ever. For instance, “eat” is a word but “ate” is not. Again, DO NOT BUY THIS at any cost.
Save your money
This game is awful. It doesn’t accept words that are real words - like EAR, ARE, TEA, ORANGE, PLANET, etc. and the letters “twist” while you’re selecting them so the letter you touch isn’t what plays. Shoddy work on the developer’s side. I wish I could my money back!
Doesn’t note correct words
I’m glad it was free because I’d been totally frustrated with it not noting correctly chosen words in corresponding boxes.

First game in years that I have actually paid for, not worth it
I enjoyed Text Twist when I first discovered it many years ago. This version is horrible. You can’t delete just one letter when you hit the wrong one. You get no credit for words that are not in the list. I regret paying the $2 for it.

I don’t get why they give you 6 letters when the max is just 5. Also words that can be formed I guess are not in their dictionary because I don’t get points for them. This game needs a lot of revision. Really not worth $1.99. Also make the letters bigger and bolder because I barely can see them.

I can’t believe I paid for this.
I was hoping this would be like the old Text Twist I played on a desktop. At first it was good, though a little clunky. They it didn’t show all the word possibilities, and then it wouldn’t have words populate when I entered them in. What a disappointment.

For example, it does not know lop, lope, loped nor loped.

The grey colouring of the letters is annoying- would like to have it clearer.
After you guess any word successfully, all the letters auto scramble and it’s very frustrating. Need the developer to fix that glitch so it’s a simpler playing experience.
The “clear” “enter” and “twist” buttons, all make the letters twist.
It also doesn’t have the ability to skip a level once you guess the biggest words.
In the original web game as soon as a 6 letter word is guessed you can move to the next level.

Just terrible. Do not purchase.
DO NOT PURCHASE
This game is terrible- I wish I read the reviews before buying it. It does not recognize half the actual words that can be made using the letters provided in each game- including “Orange” “middle” “nag” and so many more. I bought it so my child could practice spelling but guess we will be deleting this - what a waste of $2!

Very very bad
Do not buy! This game is very bad and buggy (tried on both iPad and Mac). Words like "red", "rash" and "sway" are not accepted. There is no 6-letter word target that uses all the letters (I had the letters for "always" and "wonder", but no 6-letter target to use it. I had "number" and it put "numbe" in a 5-letter box! I was hoping for a clone of "Text Twist 2", but this app is a big fail. They never tested it before release.
