App works and is essential to using the service. App makes it easy to select and combine desired forecast with button clicks and the app creates a code snippet. at first i could not find the copy button as it was floating over text with a similar color as the text behind it. was able to copy the code to my text messenger and send and receive forecast. With this capability in hand I can now replace my expensive garmin monthly plan with the satellite capabilities of my iphone and apple watch - i’ll have a means to contact emergency services while now also being able to get hourly forecasts directly to my apple watch while in the backcountry. this really could be a life saver.
