Helpful

Found the TfL Go app really useful and have had no problems with it. Useful bus and train updates as well as easy to use.

Route loss if app not in focus

It’s useless if you have a planned route and following it. If you change the app, say to respond to a phone call or a text, when you go back to TFL Go, your journey is lost and it resets to the default page. And most of the time when you choose the same journey it’s different because you’re at different bus stop by then. Your original route cannot be resurrected. Utter shambles.

Could be easier to use

Difficulties switch direction and find destination

Good UI but with flaws

The UI looks good but biggest flaw in my opinion is that I can’t choose a custom starting point without enabling location service first. This big oversight by the PM of this project or a bug created by devs.

May be Tfl wants to force people to share their current location.

In either case, I won’t be using it until that is fixed.

REPRIMAND YOUR BUS DRIVERS

It is a known fact that most bus drivers deliberately fail to turn on the air-con or the cooler.
Certain passengers could die from the intense heat on the buses!

TfL go - key ??

Like the app but it could do with a key to understand what each coloured line represents. IE red for central line etc etc

London Transport

The best in the world ❤️

RUBISH SERVICES

TFL IS RUBISH ON SERVICES 😡 always late, delays amd cancelarions …. SHAME ON YOU TFL

TfL go

Great app easy to use

Needs bus and zone information on the map

Needs bus and zone information on the map

Include National Rail and Tube

TfL go would be better if they included national rail and tube services in London

Platform locations

Good idea of an app for the tube, but for those of us not from London it would help to know which platform of the tube line the tube is coming to. The app show you the tube line name then the name of the end station, this means you have to look for a map to see if it is the north or south platform you need to go to. All the signs show the platforms by compass points, so the app should to. The Nee York subway app does this brilliantly if the developers want to steal their ideas!

Better but needs travel options

Previously rated poor (1 Star) based on bad initial
Implementation, but app has been improved.
Information generally good, but when looking at travel routes the lack of options is a real miss - i.e. when looking at a route and time, give the next available option plus others slightly later.
All other travel apps offer this, so why can’t TFL Go?

Complain & Praise

when we encounter bad things on the bus (such as dangerous driving, being late, or impolite service staff). Having to go to the website to find a complaint page or call the Call Centre is quite complicated and time-consuming. If there is a button or feature for Complain and raise in the TfL (Transport for London) app directly, it will help to send the case quickly and follow up much easier.

Adding Oyster to wallet

Works great and loving it , would better if it could be used on wallet…

Forced dark mode?

Don’t like the new colours. Dark mode? Cant seem to return it to as it was.

Dark Mode Works Really Well

I’ve been using the TFL app and find it useful for journey planning and updates. I’ve benefited from using dark mode more than light mode. The dark theme has great readability and is much easier on the eyes at night. Please keep it as it is and don’t change it

Okay but

My bus only appears half the time so it’s like a phantom bus and it makes it impossible to plan my optimal journeys

Bus Service

This is an amazing app for timings for buses however it can get quite cramped and hot during the peak times and in the summer months ,however the buses are frequent which is a bonus.
