Expired top up

There isn’t much information regarding what happens to expired top ups on the app. I have let them expire a couple of times and have never received funds back to the account. If they are just being taken, 3 days is far too short of an expiry date

Great

Peak app with accurate bus times

Mostly accurate; mostly.

Great for getting around on the buses in London.

Improve the disruption information

Why not provide more information on the disruption? For example a huge part of the network is closed today but there is no information as to why. Also closure between Earls Court and Acton Town: I have no idea what that means. You need to show it to people so they can see if they are on the part that is affected. Or why not just list the closed stations on the line in question so people can see if their stations are affected without having to do The Knowledge beforehand.

not practical, does not work well

Inaccurate information

The status updates provided on this app are generally incorrect, inconsistent, inadequate and out of date the, your customers can rely on the information to make decisions.
TFL communications when service is running are generally just repeating the some information over and over again. When there’s any issue there’s either no information or the information is inconsistent or of not help to customers

Lacking platform & rail info

Great for buses (yay bus-only mode!), but for overground, trains & underground it doesn’t tell you which platform to go to, has no live arrivals board for trains or even the tube unlike for buses, etc. Also, it should allow for longer walks to/from stations, sometimes it suggests getting the bus when it’d be faster to walk… maybe I walk fast

Useful but…

Why does the app keep logging me out? It is infuriating. Also why is Payments hidden/buried deep in the app???

Payments.

Added two top up payments recently and does not show on card.
Have to check with bank now to find out if transactions have been made.
More time wasted.

Improved immensely

When I first started using this a couple of years ago it was terrible, absolute garbage, but it has improved immensely so it’s now usable… not perfect but way better

My original 1 star review below: Frustrating to use, inaccurate. Stick with citimapper, at least it’s useful

App is useless for visitors

App is useless. Cannot add visitor oyster card. Could not log in with existing TFL account used to buy the oyster card. Could not access TFL website from a mobile phone WHILE IN LONDON and NOT on a vpn to create a new TFL account. Finally had to turn on VPN and pretend to be in PARIS to create a new TFL account and log into the app, and then it would not let me add the oyster card even though a visitor oyster card is NOT one of the types listed as “you cannot use these types with the app.”

The updates are not live

Despite what this app promises the real life status of the TFL network is not shown on this app. The information about service is often untrue and does not reflect the actual disruptions. Not sure how this app got such high ranking

Frustrated…

Keep signing out of app

Disappointed

The old app was easier to use and gave you more options. This app takes the longer routes

TFL Go - no key

It would be handy, especially for non- Londoners for there to be a Legend/Key on the underground map like there used to be on the paper versions.

Unbefriedigend

Einige Stationen fehlen, z.B. auf der Strecke Elisabeth Line, von Liverpool Str. in Richtung Flughafen LHR, die also von nicht einheimischen Reisenden viel befahren wird, was zu Irritationen führen kann.
Das ist No Go!!

I

I’m sure I’llu rI ok u

407

407 is the best bus

VPN

Won’t work with VPN set to uk server while being in the uk?!

Footscray Road

Why don’t all of the buses display their arrival times on the App?
