Cant use in northern ireland
GAA community in NI ignored , cant watch the league final despite the fact the app knows my precise location, 10 miles over the border
I love this app, however,
There are really only a couple things I would add to this app as of now. I love and appreciate it’s existence, however some of the channels do not turn horizontally with the screen when you want to watch it full sized on your phone, and some shows do not have English subtitles for it. From someone who wants to use this app to help learn the language better, it would help a lot if all programs had English subtitles. Other than that, I’m very happy with it.

Cannot watch episodes!
Despite uninstalling and reinstalling the app multiple times, it won’t let me watch any videos horizontally on my phone, only vertically, which is extremely impractical and a bit shameful they thought it was okay to release in that state.

Auto-rotate
It’s great to be able to watch programmes on the go but can the app be updated to include an auto rotate feature.

Good app but some room for improvement
I’m thrilled to be able to watch programs as Gaeilge in Canada!
However, a couple of things could be improved.
1) full screen doesn’t seem to properly go into landscape mode when i rotate my phone. This makes it extra hard for me to catch subtitles. Have an iPhone SE 2nd generation.
2) it would be nice if it remembered the episodes i watched and have a “continue watching” section.
3) it would be great if I could turn on notifications for particular series for when new episodes are coming out or if i have a unfinished episode about to be removed from the online catalog.

App update 4.0 is horrible what happened?
TG4 is amazing and their website and previous versions of this app are awesome. You can’t access many things now that are easily available on the website and previous app. Tapping a video opens it but keeps the previous video and audio playing in the background. Can no longer sync to appletv with airplay. Countless new problems.
Hoping for a fix soon! The TG4 community is wonderful and they provide an important resource to the Gaeltacht, the nation, and the world.

Not working since I updated
I just updated the app and now it doesn't work at all? It was working fine before...
Excellent app.
Works well. Streams to Apple TV in HD. Don’t listen to the negative Nellies.
Won’t download episodes
I go to download my favorite episodes, and i get the prompts to. Yet nothing downloads. That needs to be fixed ASAP
Location discovered even though disabled.
Downloaded app on Irish phone while visiting Uk. Disabled location tracking and could not use App- due to rights restrictions!!! Not really lawful?? Deleted app as no good when required

Now able to play. They didn’t do an app update so it must have been something on their end of the stream, but it is working again. So happy! I missed TG4.
Latest version breaks Player
If you’re outside Ireland, DO NOT UPDATE to version 2.2.1. The Player breaks and videos won’t play. I’ve confirmed this with users in the US and Canada. I wish I hadn’t updated because it worked fine before, but now I just get a black screen with a spinning circle.
Great app
Please fix the compatibility with Apple TV. Or even better make a apple TV app. But I gave this application five stars anyway because TG4 is amazing they have wonderful shows! It's like Netflix for Irish speakers!! Also besides the Apple TV compatibility issue this is a wonderful app.
