About
Three nights in Bangkok, the morning flight down to Phuket, a week of boats and beaches around Krabi, then the long haul home. Thailand eSIM keeps a single data line running across the whole route, on Thai local networks, in 4G/LTE and in 5G wherever the network carries it — no counter to find, no second SIM to swap in, nothing to buy again at the next stop. What you pay for is this trip's data and nothing more: one plan, paid once, that ends when its days or its data run out.
The SIM already in your phone stays exactly where it is. Calls and texts still arrive on your number, WhatsApp stays on that number, and the eSIM handles data and nothing else.
Plans
• Data packs with a set amount of data, in several sizes
• Day passes: you name the length of the stay, 1 to 30 days
• Unlimited plans, said plainly — the data never stops, and once the day's high-speed amount is used the speed eases off for the rest of that day
• Regional plans, fixed data, for when Bangkok is only the first stop in Asia
Each of them is paid for once and then ends. No contract, and nothing that renews by itself.
While you are travelling
The app shows what is left as you spend it and warns you before the data runs out, early enough to top it up from wherever you happen to be. An eSIM that is still running takes a top-up in the app whatever plan it carries; one whose time is up does not. Your eSIMs sit side by side in the app, this trip's next to the last one's. Before you buy, the data calculator suggests a size from the length of the stay and the way you lean on your phone.
Getting it onto your phone
Signing in goes through Apple, through Google, or through a code that lands in your inbox; there is no password to invent. Apple Pay and cards are both accepted, and the eSIM reaches your account shortly after. Installing takes a couple of minutes: one tap on the iPhone, a scan of the QR code, or the numbers keyed in yourself. The phone has to be online for that, which makes it a job for the evening before rather than the departure gate. Turn the line on when you are on the ground. And if Bangkok is already outside the window: buying, installing, adding data and writing to support all work from there too.
Refund
Bought an eSIM, then never installed it and used none of the data? Tell us inside 15 days of buying it and the whole amount goes back to you. Nobody asks why.
Support
Write from inside the app, message us on WhatsApp, or email support@thailandesim.app · thailandesim.app
One check before you buy: the iPhone has to support eSIM and be free of a carrier lock — XS and up, on iOS 15 and up. A cellular iPad with eSIM works too.
