I was promised a three day free trial and the app proceeded to charge me $12.99 and it didn’t even scan the right type of weed. It told me a completely different strain. if I could vote this app zero stars I would because this app is a disgrace. It’s a lying app. It’s a scamming app, KushScan more like Kush scam.

Our team has done very big amount of work to create Kush Scan app, including the collection of datasets consisting of hundreds of thousands of images, hundreds of model‑training experiments, the work on creating a good app design, not to mention developing the application itself, that includes front-end and server-side development. And we continue to improve our app and adding new features. Right now, we are also working on expanding the number of recognizable strains. Please appreciate the work we put into this. You also don’t work for free — that’s how modern capitalist society functions.

Scam has to be I scanned two different strains and getting the same answer every time even gave it a second chance. 70% accuracy 😂 Nah.

HIGHLY inaccurate
Downloaded this app for what I thought was a free 7 day trial. Turns out, I subscribed for a year for $34.99
I immediately tried to cancel but Apple wouldn’t honor my refund request. So, decided to roll with it and make use of it, as I had some bud that got mixed up in my freezer and wanted to identify which strain was which. It couldn’t identify either. Then I took out a a jar of buds that came from the dispensary, so I knew exactly what strain it was and took the same exact pic of that particular bud and entered it multiple times. This app’s algorithm literally gave me a completely different strain identity each time. I live in VA where it’s legal, so I took it to a friend who has weed that he gets from the dispensary too. We tried it on several strains that he had and NOT ONE was accurately identified! Do not waste your time or your money! This app is a rip-off.

this app took $41 dollars from me and I don’t even have the app anymore, (i deleted the same day i got it)and if you a subscription with them and try to delete the app , the subscription will not be up until the next year .

great identifier, however not worth the money
took a photo of my buds and uploaded it, came back and told me it was jack herer so i searched it up and the buds look identical to what i have so i’m gonna say its quite accurate.
However…paying over $50 per year is ridiculous (even with the half price deal being just over $25) just to tell you what strain you have, i think you guys should create a monthly plan rather than yearly to save people money and you still earn money, like $4.99 per month sounds reasonable, some people don’t have a lump sum to pay a year’s worth on the spot.
Otherwise great app!!

Only 20 strains…..
Why are you guys charging money to use this app when it only recognizes 20 strains. Does not make sense. The whole purpose of a scan is to discover the strain. Good info on strains but… again it’s naturally inaccurate due to the limit.

Bs app, i limited access to my photos and yet it somehow gained full access. Keeps asking for money after each tap on the screen. Doesn't show results until you pay a minimum of 5$ (thats where they get payment details, after annoying you with 70$ and 30$ payment pop ups) making the 5$ look like a solution to all your problems. Nice try guys.
