Great Classes
Excellent environment 20 minutes from my home. I enjoyed Willis for the Tone class this past Wednesday for the first time. I signed up for the three for $39 and will sign up for more once these run out. I need to get my body back into shape as well. I felt good after I took the class. Charming studio with vibrant energy from all employees, even on the phone. Try it out folks. This place is a gem!

AKT on demand, please
AKT Go is meh. It’s not the same vibe as AKT on demand. The AKT on demand was wonderful!
FRAUDULENT CHARGES - beware!
Do not sign up for AKT or give them your credit card info! As many others have mentioned in the reviews, you will be scammed and they will charge your card repeatedly and not cancel your membership! I have been dealing with this for months and there is no way to delete your CC info from the app. My experience happened at a Los Angeles location and it seems to be happening to multiple people for years - read the reviews and see :(

Classes Are fun but
Classes are fun but it is hard to see as most of the videos are filmed in a dark studio. Canceling my subscription due to lack of compatibility with my 2018 Sony smart tv. I can’t download the application as it does not have the required info to work on the tv.
LOVE except sound cuts off on phone
This is a great app and workout program. I use the app very often for audio content when I am out running or working out outdoors. Usually my I door workouts I use the computer for a larger screen to see the instructor. On the audio content the only issue is that the sound cuts off once the phone “goes to sleep” so I have to continually massage the screen with a thumb throughout my workout to keep it going. Hoping there is some workaround for this, in which I would definitely give 5 stars!

So confused
So I got an email that said that Anna kaiser was separating from akt as a franchise. When I have reached out to akt go regarding the app subscription (esp since new content is no longer regular ) , I did not receive a reply. I have sent repeated emails to the akt franchise to understand if Anna kaiser is no longer affiliated w the app, what does akt mean, but after three months I have still not received a reply. Fraudulent charges
I cancelled when they moved to the new AKT GO Format, yet I continue to be charged for this membership, often three times per month. The content is great, however you cannot get a hold of anyone if you have any sort of billing issue. To this day I have received no contact from this company and I am still having to dispute multiple charges every month.

Where is the YEAR subscription I paid for??
Truly disgusted that they eliminated the app that ACTUALLY has the classes I paid a year up front to have access to. This new app is useless unless you want to book a class...oh wait. THAT isn’t even possible since it’s a pandemic. Really bad. Really really bad.
Great workouts. Horrible digital platform
I echo the negative comments. I actually didn’t like AKT on Demand because the video and audio quality was so cheap and sub par, especially for the price. I had high hopes for AKT GO but the format is still the worst, although the videos are much better. However there is still no organization of content, no real programs (like workout of the day) and the content is several months old. Any live content crashes my phone and screws up my Apple TV. At least you can see and hear the awesome trainers, but at what cost?
I actually was able to get in touch with someone from Xponential Fitness (who acquired AKT) and I was told that there was no timeline as to when the new app issues would be fixed. They were very nice about it though. I cancelled my membership and it’s odd that you can’t even cancel it on the app or iTunes Store. I’d keep the membership if the rollout was much better, but I understand the rush to implement this new app during a time where home fitness is at is peak due to the current lockdown. But not at the expense of people’s loyalty and wallets. For such an amazing and results oriented fitness platform, it’s very disappointing that there continues to be no investment in the digital audience who can’t get to the AKT studio.
Silver lining - I found AKT GO workouts on NEOU, but the content is limited with a promise of more workouts being dropped on app. For those loving AKT I’d give it a try. It’s cheaper and much better performing.
In the meantime, come on AKT, catch up with the digital fitness age. There is no reason why your apps have to be so sloppy. No matter how fantastic your workouts are, there are hundreds of workout apps that are leaving you in the dust. And subscribers shouldn’t have to suffer.

Love AKT, despise this app
Truly a terrible app - videos do not load, audio will continue and you cant follow along. Has nothing to do with my Wifi/data plan - all environments does not work. BRING BACK AKT ON DEMAND!
Beyond frustrated!
I was a long time subscriber to AKT On Demand, who absolutely loved the variety and quality of the on demand workouts. I was notified in February that AKT On Demand would become AKT Go in April, and hoped the new app would mirror the quality of the workouts I had grown to love. The new workouts are not at all the AKT quality I had been paying for, but now, I am still being charged $34.99/month for an app that doesn’t even exist anymore, IN ADDITION to being charged the $19.99/month for the new app. After MANY email attempts, and two phone calls (where I left a voicemail), I have not received one single response. I’ve given up on AKT Go responding to me, called my credit card company to refuse payment for the old app that no longer exists, and will be cancelling my AKT Go subscription immediately. So frustrating that what was once such a high quality app, offering energized, challenging workouts, has turned into nothing but frustration.

I can not get any classes. I’ve been charged for the app but I can not work out. I’m paying for nothing!
Not right to do this way
Echoing the below comments. I was a subscriber on AKT On-Demand ; one day it just stopped working. Reached out to support and never got a response . The next thing you know the app wasn’t even available on ITunes Store anymore. With $39.99/month you think they’d at least let you know of the change instead of just keeping billing you.

Not as good as the last app

I’ve contacted every email, Instagram, submitted several tickets, changed my password, etc. It shows my message was seen on Instagram but no one will respond. I’ve paid for a year and it is not working in the new app. I can’t access any classes and no one will respond to anything. I’ve literally never submitted a 1 star review for anything. I’m so incredibly disappointed with AKT GO. I really love the AKT workouts and really miss the old app because before they stopped uploading new classes it worked so well!
