Excellent local news

Great paper! Great App

The Berkshire Eagle is a great local paper that covers everything from school board meetings to big stories to birding. The app is easy to use. Supporting a small paper made easy!

Essential

E-edition is the best way to share articles with friends and family. Plus you get a Monday version. (But print is still my favorite!) If you live in the Berkshires, you need the Eagle.

Thank you for the app

REALLY great to be able to read the Eagle every day from far away. Lee F.

Always have enjoyed reading the Eagle

A great local paper. Terrific content especially during the darkest year of our lives, including two overseas deployments. Thanks for keep it real, honest and relevant.

Frequent Updates of Local News

I really enjoy getting regular updates of news through my Berkshire Eagle app. I easily use my subscription to the paper much more frequently…

Keeping local news alive

The importance of our local and independent news outlet cannot be overstated. The recent stories on the Pittsfield Mayor’s proposition to ban homeless from sleeping on public properties and poor funding for meals at rehab/long-term care facilities. Not 5 stars for poor coverage of the plague of gun violence facing people, especially youth, and the failure of the Mayor, the DA and Sherrif to adequately fund PREVENTATIVE programs.

Convenient

Local news reported

Terrible

This is the worst app I’ve ever used! The worst part is that I pay for it monthly! It constantly crashes! I can’t even view the obituaries, I have to leave the app I pay for and look at them through safari. Smh...very frustrating, you’d think they would work on it.

The Berkshire Eagle

Great clarity when reading fine print .No problem with WiFi while reading Europe.

Enjoying local news

I have been enjoying reading the local news paper every morning. Since having the app I am able to have new articles or local news updates instantly. Plus the app gives me up to date stories daily. Great app.

The Berkshire Eagle is fantastic!

This app is user friendly. It allows you to access not only the daily digital paper but past issues as well. The pages fit to screen and you can easily toggle between pages.

No dates on articles

The reporting of this paper is what you’d expect for a rural location. It’s a decent paper except that if you read articles in the app (unless you click on the virtual paper section), none of them are dated. I find it very frustrating not knowing when an article was reported. How strange for a newspaper not to date its work.
