Use to be good, but got worse
I used to LOVE the bible app and I would listen to it everyday on my way to school. But then something happened that also happened to every other app I loved— it got ads. And I hate it so much because some of the ads are bible apps. Like, that doesn’t make sense. Why are you advertising one of your enemies? That’s like Adidas advertising Nike. Anyway, just for me to click a button, I need to watch some advertisement. Okay, I get it, you need to get money, get it some other way. Nobody wants ads interrupting their walk with God. And sometimes when I want to join a plan to get closer to God, I have to use premium. And my parents aren’t gonna pay premium for me, even though they’re Christians as well. So, in conclusion, the bible app used to be something that I could listen to everyday to strengthen my relationship with God, and then it became an app with a bunch of ads and premium stuff that just makes you less wanting to use it. And I don’t think that’s the purpose of the app.

Paid Service to Read the Bible
This app now has a paid subscription feature that is required to “unlock” certain chapters. How shameful. What would Gideons International think of this? I will rely on my nightstand copy going forward.

For years I have been using this app being able to access the Bible plans being able to listen to audiobook being able to look at the different versions and compare the scriptures quickly versus having to pull out all of my Bibles to do that and it has been free and I have enjoyed this app so much and it has not been monetized and it has not there’s no ad popping up and now you are making us pay for something that you have given to us. you’ve ruined it so much so I don’t wanna engage with this app anymore, and I’m not gonna pay for it.
at least if you had charged a flat rate like here take this for $10 $15 I probably would get it but you wanna ongoingly charge me $40 for something that you have made free and available to all. Why does it cost money to read any of the books past the fifth chapter. Honestly the stupidest thing I’ve ever seen.
Transferred
I transferred from android to iPhone and as soon as I redownloaded the app it came up with premium and now I can’t even read KJV for free. We shouldn’t have to pay for something that should be free.
