What's New in The Bible Study App

2.0.2

September 14, 2026

Starting a devotional plan takes four taps now. Choose a plan to see what is in it, pick any day, answer the reminder question, and the day begins on its own. Tap any word card in a study and ask about that word. The answer appears under the card. In the Hebrew and Greek word grid, a tapped word opens its meaning right where you tapped. History shows which plan and which day a devotional came from. Daily Devotional subscribers see their subscription in Settings, with Manage and Restore, and a confirmation after purchase. Stopping a study leaves it where it was. Questions asked offline each keep their own answer once you are back online. Plus fixes and polish throughout.

User reviews

Incredibly user friendly.

I loved that I was able to input my current level of faith as well as level of study with the bible as a basis. My first devotional was an absolute god send message that my father in rapidly declining health needed to hear and I was able to articulate the message and support his frustration and pain of ailment with a beautiful gospel message that fit his state of mine.

There’s more

Ok I wrote about this yesterday but there’s more I want to add. Ok, so you can go back through your history and read the devotionals that you’ve done before. Ok that’s it!

That is the exact reason I built it. Every verse in the app is the real text of from Scripture, licensed and pulled directly from the publisher. So glad it is helping you go deeper! -Luke
