App is unusable always freezing

Ads on a BEER REVIEW app?!
Thought this was a great and clever idea for Guinness enjoyers so I decided to give it a try. Went to leave a review and had to sit through an ad, but that wasn't bad enough. From there, hitting the X only resulted in the advertiser's app having an in-app pop up of the app store to download their product. Hitting the X on that then lead to a screen with the sponsors logo that required hitting another X, which only took you to a screen where you could pay to get rid of ads ($15 a year to remove ads on a BEER REVIEW APP!!!). It's not that deep. It was never that deep. It's a BEER. REVIEW. Immediately deleted my account and deleted the app. Awful product. You wanna run ads? Do a small banner at the top or bottom, don't force people to endlessly tap out of sponsored slop just to be able to use the app.

Ok for a small app developer but I haven’t been out lately and not used the app - now I can’t sign in.

App constantly throws you and won’t load up, not helpful at all, especially when your in Dublin trying to find your way
Genuinely impressive app
Regular updates and fixes from a small independent team. Works amazingly - the growing user base should have a reviewed pint anywhere you are if Guinness is served.
Didn’t think I needed an app like this until I downloaded it. Subscription is cheap and removes the ads.

Frustrating
Really enjoyed using this app until i was logged out and despite trying multiple times to reset password im not getting the email.
Very boring.
App is clunky and minimalist. Can you not make this app work better? Let users select a pub from the map and make a review.? This app development team must be very junior or lazy. Simple use app should be simple but functional

Not quite there
Clunky UX and I think they’re already monetizing data? I’m optimistic for the concept, but The Black Map just isn’t there yet. Good idea, poor execution.
Great Concept Needs Work
The app is so cool when you can access it. It is constantly prompting to update the app and you cannot use it without said update. But when you go to the App Store to update it, there is no update available in the App Store. Needs work.

Horrible to use unless you pay: the long ads often just freeze the app and you’re unable to close them even after several minutes which essentially renders the app unusable unless you pay.

This application has so much potential. But if you want to add a review, you have to jump through so many damn hoops pop up, add after suggested subscription. Every single time dudes just wanna find a map Guinness on tap

I like the idea, but a lot of bugs. I can modify or delete my review. Sometimes, its not appear at all.

This seems to now be dominated by adverts. You can’t review a pint without sitting through a bombardment of ads. In the end you just don’t bother. New bug fixes have stopped you being able to delete your reviews

Intrusive ads will inhibit app use. If I could donate once for ad free I would, but not a subscription.
Unusable
I was excited to use this app. All it does is show ads and pop ups nonstop even when you’re trying to leave a review. Also you can not click on a location to add a review you have to manually type it in. Sucks.
