About
The Book is Edwards Surfacing's work app for iPhone and iPad.
Open the familiar Dashboard, Calendar and Day View, find a job, and move between The Book, QCI and EdTrack. The layout follows the company's website, with native controls and layouts that adapt to your phone or iPad.
The Book brings together job information, people, holidays, expenses and mileage. QCI contains the company's client, quotation, contract and invoice pages. EdTrack contains personnel, fleet, plant and training registers.
You need an Edwards Surfacing account to use the app. Your account determines which pages and information you can access. Contact the office for access and support.
The app is free, with no subscriptions or in-app purchases.

What's New in The Book
1.2
October 22, 2026
Everything you do on the website can now be done in the app, with the same permissions. Petty Cash approvals and payments, credit requests and decisions, mileage claims, holidays, accident reports and the office's accident register, QCI quotes, invoices and payments, EdTrack registers and documents, and Admin all save straight from your phone. Day View and the job card now include crew document packs, job details, invoicing status, deleting jobs and Undo. The Calendar lets you drag a job to another day. Pages load faster, unsaved forms no longer lock buttons elsewhere, and the wording is plainer.
