Buggy App
Tried to use the app for a second visit. Both times doesn’t recognise screen taps. Had to order at the venue.
Please just walk away
Walk away now before you give these awful people any money, the app is terrible, the service is terrible, the food is microwaved and terrible. The only reason your still here is the view and the atmosphere in this clinical place will soon put you off.
Very confusing
What happened to just going up to the bar and ordering what you want. If I could give zero stars for this app I unfortunately would.
Unnecessary app detracts from pub
App based ordering makes it feel like cheap Wetherspoons pub. Shame for a decent location.
Doesn’t accept Apple Pay
Pointless app, it will take you longer to download this and work it out then pay for a drink, if they allowed, you would be quicker crawling to the bar, counting out in 1p coins, you have probably died of thirst quicker than getting anything via this app, what happened to bar service?
Good design, flaky in use
The app design is good, very clearly laid out and the descriptions of the food and drink are good (which is probably down to the Bowgie staff rather than the developer). However, it keeps locking and and lot of to-ing and fro-ing is needed as buttons keep randomly not working.
Also, once the order is placed it says the status from ordered to prepping etc. Will automatically update. It doesn't - this may be just that tge kitchen staff are not progressing the order through the system.

Can’t order
Got to checkout and didn’t allow me to actually order my drinks, poor.
Works fine
Worked fine. Easy enough to use and the correct food arrived.
Please allow autopopulated details to be used
The app is fine and easily navigable, but the most annoying thing about it is that when you are asked to put in your name, address, card details, etc, if they are already saved on your phone, there is no option in the app for that information to be pre-populated, which makes it a very frustrating user experience and it takes 10 times longer to complete a transaction

Works fine
Ordered on the app after downloading over 4G (full signal outside), although the food and drinks are poorly laid out we found what we wanted. I paid with paypal, much easier. Apple pay would be nice. Drinks came straight away. I would happily use again. They deliver to a table next to you to be ‘covid safe’.

Not the same!
The whole pub is no longer the same! This app ruins the whole experience, feels like an in and out chain, no longer the same!
Bit of a faff but ok
Took a bit of extra time to order but still alive so am quite pleased!

Very good on iPhone not so much on Huawei
We pre-downloaded the app on my wife’s Huawei phone and pre booked table for Wednesday. App worked fine at the restaurant and we went through the instructions, all worked until we needed to put in number of people in party to get the discount and we couldn’t enter any number. We resolved this by downloading app on iPhone and going through ordering process again. All worked 100% on my iPhone.

Total rubbish
With poor reception outside it took us 15 minutes just to download the app and try to place an order. When we finally got to the payment screen it failed and there was an error.
Lovely pub absolutely rubbish app
They have done up the pub beautifully. It’s a shame this awful app ruins it. Takes a good 15 minutes to use this rubbish app to order a drink. What happened to Apple Pay etc ... what happened to waiters taking orders??? PS The waiter who dumped the drinks tray on the table and walked off needs ‘retraining’
