This is a great app
I’ve been a subscriber since the app was reviewed in Zwift Insider a few years ago. The functionality and statistics are great, the AI coach is awesome and the interface is very pretty.

Unhappy decline in app function
This app used to be fantastic. Now, many parts are broken. It should be pulled from the App Store. My subscription was about to renew and fortunately I was able to cancel just in time. Sorry to see it go this way.
App isn’t syncing with others
Agree with the others. No response from support and isn’t syncing with other apps to get my data. Sent couple support tickets and even contacted couple people from who I believe to be with breakaway, but no response.
Love it!
I’ve never been so tuned in to planning my week around training and racing. I just wish it would show me what’s coming up the next day or the following week on Sunday, the last day of the week.
Tech Support is Non-Existent
I’ve sent multiple emails to their tech support, and said emails have been ignored. What a joke.
Customer service
I have had this app for a number of years and it worked well. I like the details it gives once you’ve uploaded a ride. Things have changed, u heard that Strava acquired them in may 2025? The customer support is not existing, the app doesn’t have the detail it did, the ai coach is on strike. I left Strava for this, now I’m leaving this too. I guess it’s a Strava thing?

Unreliable updates
Regularly disappointed as rides often do not update. Pity as good in other ways. But I want to see my data on the same day not when I’ve forgotten it
Don’t bother
The creators have abandoned the app. No longer answer support mail and you cannot redeem your credit with The Feed.
Won’t renew
When the app was launched the whole experience was great. Service, engagement, support. Suddenly it stopped working. No support, Facebook no reply, and when Jordan replied and I explained my issue, ghosted! I’m gone once my current membership ends

Unfortunately I’m not really rating the training ability of the app due to always recommending the same workout suggestions that do not focus on weaknesses.
If you’re a rider with money and wants to follow a generic plan that gets you off the sofa then this will work for you, but someone that already trains and is looking for that specific or specialist improvement, don’t bother with this app.
Also the ai coach hardly works.

Useless and Ineffective
After almost a year of using this app it hasn’t met expectations. If you want to compare your power output and HR rates that is about all the insight it gives you. The AI coach is terrible. For example, I had a long Zwift race which took almost 2 hours to complete and I was in my VO2 Max and Threshold heart rate. I asked the coach what I should do the following day and it told me an intensity workout while my training scheduled shows rest day off the bike. There have been no improvements nor any social media posts. I think this app is forgotten. Save your money. I can’t even give a month free to friends. When they look at the app they have all said this is useless data.

Good for tracking benchmarks
Very useful for training metrics on power at different time intervals.
The app is dead
Seems the app was abandoned by a developer, I don’t see any meaningful updates, no activity in social media.
Bad design
This app is overloaded with pink color. The icon is also terrible and has nothing to do with cycling, which is what this app tries to represent. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this app to anyone. Yes, I’m a caylist.
Where’s the support?
Feels like this app may be on the way out. Tonne of automated emails. No support when accounts/gps aren’t linking. Kinda frustrating.

Everything started out good but after completing a training plan and setting up a new one nothing makes sense. Targets are far below what they should be even though the new goal is harder.
Tried multiple times to contact support and have gotten no response. Can’t delete my account and start over - it errors out. The AI coach is almost useless.
I’d skip this one unless the dev starts engaging again.

Quality on decline
Been a user of Breakaway since it was in beta. It used to be great but there has been no updates and Zwift connection has not worked for months. Contacted support who used to answer same day or next day with a fix for any issue. Emailed them about zwift not working and never heard back. So I cancelled my subscription. This app had promise but has lost its way.

App is great when working but service is slow
I love this App when it is working. However, I have had a few rides list as “unclassified.” I have done the typical troubleshooting steps (e.g., rebooting, deleting and reinstalling the app, etc) without any success. There is no customer service number to call and my last few emails have not been responded to.
