We had a fabulous birthday celebration for my aunt at Capital Grille last night. Everyone truly enjoyed the food, the service, and most of all the good feeling, when we die here.

Good evening,
My name is Mike Pignatello, I’m 46 & I am a new yet already loyal customer of The Capital Grill. Recently I had dinner with a friend that I haven’t seen in quite some time. My friend suggested this establishment & I fell in love almost immediately. The service was outstanding, the ambiance extremely comfortable & the food was magnificent. Being from Queens I was hesitant because I wanted to go somewhere comfortable and close to home knowing the food would be great (Morton’s in Great Neck is my usual suspect). After dinner I was literally shocked and subsequently hooked. The following week I took both my sons (Anthony 18 & Michael 14)
Michael had thePorcini crusted ribeye with lobster mac & cheese and the crabcakes for an appetizer. Anthony had the cut bacon appetizer with bone in filet and mashed potatoes. During dinner we were approached by Amy Condron and she introduced herself as the manager and greeted us with a warm spirit & gentle tone. I introduced both my children indicating Anthony was a student at ST. John’s University and Michael a freshman in H.S. in a debut culinary program in NYC with a specific, focused and heavy concentration on the culinary arts. Amy kindly engaged Michael showing a keen & genuine interest, making him feel like he was networking and creating contacts (Amy was truly gold). After dinner we were surprised with a personal greeting my Chef Mohamed for Michael (arranged by Amy) as he gave some tips, advice and general discussion regarding our dinner that evening. My experience could not have been more pleasant. I consider myself a regular now & will be booking a 75th birthday party this fall for my Uncle. It’s an actual breath of fresh air experience at The Capital Grill with outstanding and delicious food, a warm staff and a clean & beautiful ambiance.

If you haven’t been, it’s a must visit!!! Now, it won’t be the same, unless you have Danny as your server, he makes your meal just perfect. The food is delicious but a good waiter makes a whole difference, ask for Danny.

I refuse to go to any other restaurants! I’m treated like royalty when I go to the Capital Grille! I will give you some of the names of the fantastic people who are so special at the Capital Grille: Richard, James, Jackie, and Sam. The food is the best on the Island! Whether I go there for lunch or dinner, I know my meal will be superb, and the service will be unquestionably the best!!

Trouble with credit cards
I tried to order gift cards, app continued to reject card. Called credit card company said no request came through. Went to web site, logged in, saw my cart with gift cards, put in credit card info, and immediately accepted. Something wrong with app.
